The Introduction

Jasmine's POV: I'm 21 years old and in my junior year of college with a major in Sociology and a double minor in African American Studies. I attend school at The University of South Florida which has so far been the greatest experience. I am taking all of these classes but still don't know exactly what I want to do with my life. My parents told me to get a college education so that's what I'm doing but I still feel like I don't have a sense of direction. I have one close friend, her name is Jerial and we are line sisters. I pledge for the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Inc; that was by far the best organization to join here on campus. Not only is it a organization but it's my new family. I hope to find myself before my junior year ends; they say college helps you do that so here I am going with the flow hoping that everything turns of fine.

Jay's POV: I'm 28 years old and transferred here to The University of South Florida in 2017 from Morgan State which is in Baltimore, Maryland. If anyone had to describe me that would say conceited, witty, and may I add good looking. I'm not sure why I chose Florida out of all the states but here I am. I'm a Pre-Law Major with a minor in liberal studies. I know you're thinking I should be graduated by now but I had a few setbacks throughout my college career which includes the death of both of my parents which happened back in 2015. My parents passed away due to their car catching on fire from a semi truck collision. Although I'm greatly impacted by the death of my people I'm still choosing to finish college and become the best man I can be. The men of Omega Psi Phi Inc. is what's helping me become complete and enjoying this journey of college. Although it seems as if I have it all together; I truly don't but I do strive to always come out on top despite of my setbacks.
