(Y/N)'s POV

"What's this? It looks fun!" exclaimed a pink skinned girl, her two antennae wobbling a bit from the top of her head.

"We can use our quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!" another student exclaimed, raising his hands, his elbows looking like tape dispensers.

Uncle Aizawa's head was faced downward, eyes covered by his hair. "It looks fun, huh." he turned his head slightly to face the class. "You have three years to become heroes. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?"

I looked at Uncle Aizawa for a moment, before feeling goosebumps in my arms and the back of my neck. He was smirking, that smirk of his meaning that they were going to get it.

"All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."

The whole class gasped at his sudden revelation, other than two students, not including me. I had heard stories during my time in the hospital on how Uncle Aizawa kicked out whole classes from the hero course due to not having potential by his standards.

I was afraid for Izu-kun. He was quirkless, how was he going to be able to pass without a quirk? I shook my head. I knew he worked hard to get this far, so he had to give it his all. I was the one who told him he could become a hero, and I wouldn't go back on my word.

I looked in the direction he was at. I noticed that his eyes were dilated, probably having the same thought process as me about his quirklessness. He moved his head slightly, facing back at me. I could tell everything from one look in his eyes. Nervousness...anxiousness..and fear. All from a single look in his emerald eyes.

"Welcome to U.A.'s hero course!" Uncle Aizawa exclaimed, raising his arm to raise the hair on his forehead, making his grin and eyes clearer for the class to see.

'I just hope Izuku makes it through it'  I thought, before looking at my Uncle and sighing.

I walked away from the commotion, taking Uncle Aizawa's sleeping bag to sleep on the floor as they took the test.

When I decided to wake up, I felt someone shaking me lightly. They were probably trying to wake me up, so I unzipped the sleeping bag partially. As I yawned, I wiped my eyes from the tears and drowsiness I still had in me.

I opened my eyes, to be eye-to-eye with Uncle Aizawa. He looked at me for a few seconds, before scoffing as he walked away. I looked at him expectantly, as if I was a loyal dog waiting for my owner's order.

"What are you waiting for, there is a school you have to go through." he turned around to face me for a bit, before continuing on his walk into the school. I got out of the sleeping bag and followed, afraid of possibly getting lost again.

As I stepped right behind Uncle Aizawa, I took in my surroundings. I was finally able to feel what a high school setting would be like. I then remembered what I said about how Izu-kun should be with someone that wasn't me. Or at least, the me who was sick. My face flushed red, as I remembered how the reason why I wanted to continue to live on was for Izu-kun.

Aizawa noticed this, and let a single chuckle out. "Seems like someone already has a crush, hn?"

"S-shut up, U-uncle A-Aizawa!" my face become closer to the red haired boy who I learned was named Kirishima. I covered my face with my hands, which felt useless as he already knew.
