I woke up too early in the morning, maybe because I fell asleep early last night. It's not raining anymore yet the cold wind still remained. I went out of the room to have breakfast I don't have class for today since the Professor cancelled it due to his bad headache but I had to go to the University to pass some requirements for a certain subject.

"It's a miracle you're awake this early already?"

I rolled my eyes at Tay, he's my cousin who is currently staying with us because his parents are out of the country and they don't trust the guy of being by himself at home, alone. Everyone knows he is a bit of a black sheep in the family but unlike them I don't hate him that much for that. There a reason why he is doing what he is doing and that's what others don't get. He is not that bad compared to those delinquent students he used to fight to, he fights not only for himself but also for the sake of other people especially his family. Too bad his parent doesn't see his heroic acts every time.

"I've been sleeping for the past 8 hours what do you expect from me?"

I get him another plate and reaches for the spoon and fork. He just smiled at me doing so before messing with my hair. I made the tss-ed sound while trying to get off his hands on my head.

"Stop!"

He's laughing before reaching for the bread in front of us. I observe him with what he is doing, I felt sad for him every time his parents are gone he might not say it but I can see that he too, wants affection from them.

"Are you going to school today?"

I continue eating and just nod at his question.

"I'll drop you. Wait for me."

He stood up right after saying that and before I knew it he is gone inside the dining room. I look around with curiosity, I wonder where my grandmother is she usually wakes up earlier than me.

I finished eating and prepare myself to school. When I'm done I went down only to see Tay with his phone in his hand and his expression is as if he's been there for the long time.

"Are you a girl? You spent too much time fixing your things."

He stood up and walk to me.

"Whatever. Let's go."

I left him there before he can even reach for my hair. When we arrived at school I didn't bother to bid goodbye to him. But being a fast walker that he is he reached for me soon enough and hardly put his arms in shoulder.

"As if you can leave me that fast!"

"Ai P' don't you have a class?"

He just smiled at me – more on smirking, knowingly. Ay Sat! I forgot.

"How fortunate you are to be in the First class!"

"Don't worry, you won't know the feeling. Bye!"

And for the last time he messes with my hair before running off to the field where his so called friends are. I shake my head as I walk to the faculty room. I didn't bother tell my friends that I am at school so that they can't ask me to come with them tonight at the students secret base since its Friday. Our University don't set weekend classes as per the suggestion of Parents organization since it's time for the family, good thing we still got the 2 days break unlike the other school around.

I knock three times before going in, some of the Professor look at my way while the others don't bother because they are so engrossed with what they are doing. I look for Mr. Victor and saw him talking to a student he smiled when he saw me I walk to him and bowed my head slightly to acknowledge the other Professor's presence.
