"WAKE UP!" shouted Mrs Dursley as she pounded on the stair door, unlocking it. You and Harry both sigh as you got up and out of the cramped space you two had to share. "MAKE BREAKFAST HARRY, Y/N, DO THE LAUNDRY!" Mrs Dursley shouted again. You go into the Laundry room and put all the clothes inside, checking the pockets and putting the washing on, you walk out to find a small piece of bacon and a slice of bread on the table for you, you look at Harry, and nod, sitting down and eating, thinking about your past.
When you were a baby, your mother died from birth, and you were sent to the Dursleys, you were Harry's cousin, but you had a secret, that only Harry knew about, you can trace form into a wolf and a part wolf, so you have the ears, tail, reflexes and speed, nose and fangs and eyes. But you only went in this form when with Harry at night when he had a bad dream, you would let him pat and cuddle your tail until he falls asleep, you are around the same age, 10, and both are hated by your family, the is another thing, you can talk to all animals. Harry can only talk to snakes and you can talk to animals, you found this out after the zoo experience.
"Y/N STOP DAY DREAMING AND GET THE MAIL!" your aunt shouted once more, you sighed again and walked over to the mail slot. you had 3 letters, two from your family so far, you flip to the next letter and nearly pass out, the letter says:
To Mr Harry Potter and Mrs Y/N Black, from under the stairs.
You gasp and make up your mind to try hide it from your 'caretakers', you hold it behind your back and walk over to your seat and hand harry the letter, just as he was opening it your annoying cousin grabs it and you shout "HAY GIVE IT BACK-" and harry finishes the sentence for you "ITS OURS!" Mr Dursley chuckled and said "Who would send a letter to you two!?" but then looked at the letter and turned pale, along with your aunt.
