All the first year students followed the teacher into a large hall with a sort of illusion on the roof of a night sky. You were surrounded by many different strangers. You held Harrys hand and gave him a nervous smile, and he returned you with a confident smile. The female witch and the headmaster explained whats going on. (if i got that wrong sorry its been a while) The female teacher who you figured out was Professor megonagal, (Again sorry if i spelt it wrong) listed a few names, the students would walk up and have a hat placed on their head and the hat will shout a house. Draco was called up and before the hat even touched his head the hat shouded "SLYTHARINNN" (plz correct me of my spellibg mistakes TwT) And malfoy smugly grins as he hops off the chair and walks to his house. Next was Harry, he got Griffendore. Next, your name was called. "Y/N."
Everyone whispered in why she did not say your last name, but you shrugged it off and walks up and sat on the stool. You felt the old hat sit on your head and it spoke
"hmm... brave, yes, mischievous, plenty, intellegence... average." You internally huffed at that remark.
"Hmm but secrets, so many secrets.... cunning yes, oh i cant choose..." you close your eyes and whisper like harry
"not slytharin, not slytharin..."
"Not slytharin hmm? But you have so many traits, you would be able to change slytharin for the greater good! What do you say??" You bite your lip and think for a moment. What does he mean change slytharin??
"Times up Y/N... SLYTHARIN!!!" You opened your eyes in shock before slumpibg over once the hat is removed and going over to the slytharin table, harry, homione and ron gave you sorry looks as you passed them and say down next to draco. Draco smirked at you as you just scoffed and ignored him.

After the ceremony and dinner everyone went to their houses and were given the passwords by the head of house, once you got inside you looked around for a bit before sitting on the couch with a sigh, Jewels sat on your shoulder and nuzzled you and you smiled, petting her neck and head with your pointer finger. Draco walked over to you and sat next to you.
"Ha! I cant believe you of all peo0le got into slytharin! Only the best of the best are meant to be in slytharin! .. but atleast it means you are a pure blood." Draco kept talk pridefully while you stared at him in anger and shock, how dare he be so rude to you!! You held back a growl as you just fake smiled at him.
"Of course I am the best!" And with that you dropped the smile and walked off with Jewels on your shoulder, her small eyes glaring him down. You walked to your private room and layed on the bed once Jewels flew to her purch and you got had a shower and got into your pyjamas. You sighed and closed your eyes, tomorrows another day...
