The baby's name was Sophie. She was a blond haired girl who was 3 years old. She might of been 3 but she still had thoughts and was thinking about her mother all the time. They were somehow attached and she wouldn't let go. This connection would ultimately cost her and Charles to run from the law and go to France (which is right across the English Channel if you didn't know)
