Fire Girl

Chapter 6

   (continue dream) Stop stop. I yelled but none of them listened. I tried to suck in the fire but i couldn't . But they all saw. They grabbed me. Struggling to escape their grip i screamed at the top of my lungs. That didnt help. They threw me in. It feels like hell. I cant take it. I cant.

   "Hey wake up. Wake up. Wake up!"

I arose from a deep nightmare. Coming face to face with jayden i breathed heavily lowering myself back down to the pillow.

  "You looked like you were having a seizure."

     A look of confusion appeared upon his face. I tilted my head and he did too. Sarcastically. "Why. Why are you still laying down. Did you not understand my explanation of what is going on."

   I was tired of this i grabbed a towel, shirt and pants, then left to the shower. Leaving him speechless.

    I replaced the gray shoelaces in my gray converse with red ones. I went out the back and  started onto a track that could take me anywhere it wanted to. At this point i really didn't care. It was about 80° outside but i still had to put my hood on. I was technically illegal.

    I had ran up to what looked like my school from a distance and as it grew closer i saw it was. I stopped and starred.  There was no point. I could never go back.

   Not looking where im going i bump into someone."Oh sorry i wasnt looking in the right direction." The person was that cute boy....dang what was his name....ummm....Aiden. that's it.

   "Its ok. Hey arent you...Viper you ride my bus. "He said ,obviously never having forgotten my name.  "Hey so why aren't you in school? I was wondering if we could hang out sometime." He said scratching the back of his head.

   I thought about it for a little:

Hes just a regular teenager. What could he possibly do look how sweet and innocent he looks. Oh shoot he looks sad now i better answer.

  "Sure. Can you do the coffee shop and noon?"

     "Yeah see you then."

  She walked away and ran in the other direction. When  she was clear out of sight i pulled out me phone.

   Vipers pov

    The town was beautiful from what i saw. A nice little kid park, some tall buildings. Really good restaurants and entertainment centers. And schools duh.

    I showered yet once again and sat on the couch to turn on the tv. The other remote was at the other end of the table so i just left it on the news.         A new newscast had started to broadcasting right now:

  Im Avery Hennings and im coming to you with breaking news. The government has now widened the endless search for the benders across the entire world. They now look through homes and around the streets for posers. They say they have found thousands and yet another has escaped from their capture. Last night isabel martini was found by a hunter and the police soon surrounded the house after being notified. She still managed to escape. The search goes on to stop these terrible beast that run around the world. Back you Fredy.

   I turned off the tv, furious at the words spoken hard as rock. I put on my baby blue flats and head out the door.

   The coffee shop wasnt to far when running. But walking it felt like forever. When I go there he was at a table in the shade of the cafe overhead. It was a nice place. Even though i dont like coffee, i prefer hot chocolate and they also have that.

   I find him and sit down. But not to comfortable . There was feeling creeping up on me that i was being watched almost. The skin on the back of my neck prickled.

   "Hey aiden. Whats up?"dang it. Really...whats up. we aren't bros or something. I waited for a response. Was this to weird?

  "Hey you look nice...(blurred out.) I looked at a lady two tables across from us. That was her third drink. And she looked well awake.

   ".....ma'am...ma'am?" A waiter ,ticked off already, called me several times. "Oh what sorry, zoned out a second there."

   "What would you like to have today?"

   "Ill have a hot chocolate and a croissant. Lightly toasted please." I said with a perky smile. Almost like the really stupid cheerleaders.

  We drunk and we talked. I mostly said yeah because i was to focused on that woman. It was her fourth cup. But she drunk slower now.

    Brrrr. I checked my phone.

    Where the heck are you????

    None ur buisness

    OK im an hour away.

  

   All total lies. I was going to be there for another hour.

   "Who are you texting?" He leaned over to try and see. Nosey .

   "Um.. its just my mom."yeet. "She needs me to come home now."i lied through my teeth while whipping my dress off. He grabbed my arm."Wait. I could walk you."

   No. It's fine. Bye now." I walked quickly away. He looked anxious, acting as weird as that lady who i noticed got up and went around the corner.

     I open the door and something breaks...
