Before the success of old hauz they put a lot work hard, effort, time and patience also try and try to gain their business image. They are motivated to build their own business due to large number of people here in gapan. Way back 2014 John Paul Soto and his friend decided to build a business. But due to lack of financial support they think of ways on how to build their business without using money to buy a property to build their business. According to John Paul Soto he notice that their "bakuran" is large enough and also its a nice place to start a small sizzling house. They started serving product that is brought from the market and ready to serve. But in the middle of their success his business partner decide to choose his career over their business he sell her "part" to JP Soto.  After facing that problem JP Soto notice that selling a ready to serve sisig has a small profit so he decided to make his own recipe for sisig.  Selling his own recipe caught the attention of the people his small business start to boom. After his booming business JP Soto create a lot of new products that very nakakait for the people.

According to John Paul Soto nung una his main goal is to earn profit but now his goal is to serve fresh, clean, affordable and quality food and because serving a quality food is like an investment because when you sell qualulty and affordable food it will caught the attention of people and the more people na tumatangkilik sa food mo the more profit you will earn. Also John Paul Soto believe in a saying that "after the rain, there's a rainbow" like what happened to him when his friend choose his career their business became very popular
