I was left alone, all alone. Eight men out, six left. It was five versus me. At the beginning we moved in from the East.

They were against the walls guarding the prized possession, a golden sword. I am on the capturing team going against the defense. We are going in to take out the wall men. We go out and my best friend took out a guard. The siren went off and they came to guard. My friend was repeatedly shot and we took off for cover in a tall grass area. They ran by and shot down my teammates. I took off and realized they had one man stayed behind. I was glad I had a full auto gun. I fired and took him out. I ran out and grabbed the sword. When I took off, I was shot at I ran for cover. I dropped the sword and it stuck in the ground.  It would not come out. They tried and tried it would not budge. I went and hid in the trees.

I was waiting for the brains behind the strategy of the enemies. I shot and missed. They ran. Ran but as if something else beside me was there. I looked and seen nothing at first. My last remaining teammate was coming up over the hill. He was running toward me and I seen a barrel of a gun. I shot and shot missed the guy’s head. He left to catch up with his teammates. My teammate, gasping for breath, said, “Everyone is gone.”

            “What?” I said

“All of them are gone. Shot.”

“ So it is just you and I?”

He gives me a head nod as we slowly move out. It is starting to get dark on the 13th day out here in the arena. It is starting to get cold so we build a shelter and a bed. I make a lean to against a tall oak tree with a prairie grass pillow. I put leaves on the lean to keep out the rain I could see moving in. I could hear the rain hit the leaves. I got annoyed, so I got outside and put my jacket over me. I was sitting against a tree. When the rain stopped late that night, I walked back to my shelter.

When I woke up the next morning it was foggy. I found my wake back to my teammate and I found out he was ambushed at night. I was saying in my head, “So you come for us in the night to get us. Come again and find out what will be waiting for you here.

The next night I did not go to sleep. I built a fire and a shelter. I knew they would come in the sight of my fire, so I climbed a tree and waited for them. I heard a whisper in the darkness then seen two moving shadows. I pointed my gun in that direction. Something caught my eye. It was the others coming toward my shelter. If they are all here then that means there are no guards. I hold up on firing in the case of being shot at up in a tree including being out numbered. I looked at them and then I heard, “He is not here. Run! Run!” They took off running and I shot and took one down. It was not the smartest thing because then they new I was in the area. They stopped and looked back and I heard, “Guys! Wait! We out number him and then we can take him down. We have the numbers three to one.” I could see them coming back so I worked my way to the backside of the tree. I sighted down a guy and took him out. It is now three on one. I have the bad side due to the carelessness of my players. James and Bo being chased down, Isaac being shot repeatedly, John getting ambushed, and Joshua and Luke being shot down from behind. I started to crawl down a branch. I waited for them to turn and then I jumped. I made it to the other tree. I slid down the backside then headed for the farmhouse. I was in the basement. When I heard talking. I grabbed more ammo then headed for the bedroom. I went under the covers. I was there and there were pillows everywhere so it was like I was a pillow. After they left, I waited a second. I came out from the bedroom and headed for the exit. I left and headed for the town. I got in to town and it was empty of course because it was a paintball game. I so confused how I knew there was a town. It would of taken a lot of construction.

I went to the mall and hid under the clothes rack. When I looked out I saw the other team had two gators. With three men, they fanned out. I was sneaking up behind one and jumped into a clothes rack. He looked back. When he turned back around, I stood up fired and fell back down. When they see their teammate down, they took off. I followed but slowly and took out the one in the back. The last guy jumped in a gator and took off. I ran up and jumped in the other gator. I took off after the guy. He hit the brakes and did a spin stop. He was staring me down as he is slowly backing up. I creep forward. I stop and he jerks to a stop. I pull up my gun. He does the same. I say to him, “When you pull the trigger, so do I”. He moves forward so we are less than 20 yards away. He hits the gas and goes around me. I yell, “Hey. You. Come back here”. He stops and faces me. We are now 50 yards apart. It is a risky shot but I fired and hit the seat. He backed up closer. In my head I was saying, “Come at me. Little closer.” He moves in close to 15 yards. I look down my sites, which are pointed at his head. He pulled the trigger and hit me in the face. Right before I hit the ground closed my eyes and then at that moment is when I woke up and realized it was all a dream. I was face down on my bed and I was breathing deeply.
