Chapter 1.

I'm standing here.At the edge.And I'm ready for that one step.One single step.And I will be relieved.Forever.

 

     I'm breathing heavily as i stare at the gap in front of me.Am I really ready for this?Steadily,I move one of my feet forward.I'm not gonna lie,I'm scared. Frightened. But can I  keep living like that?No..

I take a deep breath,trying to relax.

"This is it",I whisper,mostly to myself.There's nobody else here.Not at this time.

I'm checking my watch quickly. 1:25 am. Probably they are sick worried for me.Like I care!It's all about pretending in this family.I sigh and trying to move.But I can't. I have this feeling, like im not alone.

Gee,can't anyone die in piece here?

"Well,no".

Whoa.I was right.Im not alone up here.And,seriously?Did i really speak out loud?I can't help but blush as i turn my head towards the sound of the voice.

"Leave me alone",I tell him annoyed.

He smirks,trying to look hot in my opinion, and he keeps his eyes on me.

"You surely sound meaner than I thought".

"You surely seem sillier than I thought".

"Rawr",he laughs."Don't bite,kitty.I was just saying".

"Back off,go.Leave me alone".Why did he have to be so annoying ?

And as if this was not enough,my phone starts to ring,grounding me.I quickly take it off my pocket and check the dialer's name.Oh,great.

"Aren't you gonna take that call?You're ringtone is really getting my nerves",he barks.Or so i think.Ugh.

I refuse to look at him and within a few seconds I have made my decision.

I take a step back and head towards the elevator.I can hear him walking behind me,but i ignore him.Walking fast and confident,Im getting into that elevator and press the button.As the doors are closing,I let out a sigh of relief when he's not getting here with me.

But of course,when have I  been lucky in my life?He rushes his foot among the doors and finds his way in the elevator.My elevator.

His cocky smile is back at his face while he runs his hands through his hair.Had I  not been annoyed with him,I would have noticed how sexy he looks.But I was annoyed.Really annoyed.So,I acted like a mature girl and turned my back to him.

"Playing hard to get,huh?",he laughs."I like that."

Silence.And the elevator comes to a stop.Relief flushes me as i walk quickly past the doors and smack him lightly with my shoulder.

"You're a wild kitty",he says.

"Don't bug me.I bite." I steadily look him in the eyes and he is taken aback by my reaction. "I hope I'll never see you again",I take one more moment looking at his eyes to emphasize my words.

He remains silent and I walk away.I could still feel his green eyes on me.
