Aunt Lisa's POV

Ring.ring.ring.

I went to pick up the phone and to my disappointment it was the jail

Phone conversation

Police:

Hello miss, is the aunt of rocky, uh Lisa?

Aunt Lisa:

Yes, speaking?

police:

This is officer James. I have called to tell you that we have a court date set up for miss dixons mother, kristy

Aunt Lisa:

Oh ok. Um when is it?

Police:

It is tomorrow, miss. At 8 am

Aunt Lisa:

Um ok. Thank you. We will be there

Police:

Thank you. Have a nice night.

End of phone conversation

Great. I thought to my self. How am I suppose to tell rocky that we have to be at the court tomorrow morning. It's in less then 12 hours. Well I better go tell her now.

I knocked on her door and she opened it but not with a happy face on.

"What do you want?" She asked in a disgusted voice

"Well I just got off the phone with the police department."

Rockys POV

She just got off the phone with the police department? What could they have wanted? Maybe they are letting my mom go.

"What did they tell you." I said slowly

"Um they have a court date set up."

"Oh well when is it?"

"Tomorrow" she said with a sigh

"What" I croaked with tears in my eyes

"I'm so sorry honey. I know that your mad at me and you pro-"

I just shut her up by giving her a hug. I can't stay mad at her for ever. She is my rock right now.

"So your not mad at me anymore..."

"No. Thank you"

"Your welcome, sweetheart." She said in a soft voice

"Do you think she has a chance of coming off the hook with no years?" I asked with glossy eyes

"No. She was doing very illegal drugs. I think she will be in prison for a long time. I'm sorry"

"It's ok. I don't think she cared much anyway. I still have you. Everything will be just fine."

"Yes, yes it will be." She sighed while we were still hugging.
If only she knew, thought aunt Lisa
