The Gifts

Tae: My dad should be coming back soon.
Yoongi: I'm going to be meeting my father-in-law soon? I can't wait.

Tae looks at Yoongi with the cutest smile and a blush filling his cheeks.

Tae: F-father-in-Law?
Yoongi: We're getting married, just not now. Mark my words.
Tae: We'll see Yoongi-Hyung, I hope that we do get married in the future.

3 Hours Later

Tae's dad: Taehyung open the door. I'm home! I brought some stuff, I think that you'll like it.

Tae: Yoongi, my dad is home.

Yoongi gets up at the sound of Tae's voice, it's so deep and smooth.

Yoongi: Omg my future dad is here, let's go. *Yoongi zooms out of the room with Tae*

Yoongi greets Tae's dad at the door with his gummy smile and still has Tae's hand in his grasp.

Tae's dad: Prince Min Yoongi? You're finally a real boy after all these years. I am so glad that my son found you. Your family has missed you for so long but they won't have the chance to see you again. Come with me Prince, They left you gifts, I never went near them because I respect you and your family.

They all head to a shed in the backyard.
Dad: Don't be decieved by this old shed, it may look rusty and old but it's beautiful on the inside.

*They all walk in to the shed which has stairs leading down into the earth.*

Dad: Don't be afraid, there's really nothing scary down here, I promise.

Tae's dad snaps his fingers and the door opens up, they go inside and find a lot of things that belonged to the Min Family.

Yoongi: Wow, my family left all this stuff for me? This is so wonderful.

*In the room, there were polished antiques, jewelries varying from Diamond necklaces to Ruby rings, books, clothes, and Yoongi's dad's weapons.*

Dad: They also left a Will for you under their royal name. *He grabs a key from his jacket and opens a box with Yoongi's name on it*

Tae's dad opens the box and it reveals a bunch of unopened letters from his family, his mom's favorite ring is also in there along with his dad's wedding ring.

He grabs the letter on top which has an emblem of a pretty sunflower. He opens the letter with care and proceeds to read in his head.

(Just imagine a motherly voice while reading the letter)

My son, my beautiful son,

It has been years since you left and I think about you everyday. I regret turning you into a statue, but I wanted to protect you from this world. There will come a day when you have your own children and you will understand the responsibilities of being a parent. I am very sorry that I will not be there when you turn back into your beautiful self. Just live your life while we're not there, don't ever worry about us, we're okay. I hope that you marry the person that saved you from the spell, whether it be a man or woman, I wouldn't care as long as your happy. I love you so, so much. I just wished we were there to hug and kiss you like we always did. Take care of yourself darling, you'll always be my sweet pretty boy.

I remember the day you were born, oh how happy I was on that day. I knew you were going to be just like your mother. When you grew older, you had so much love for the people. You were a kind and gentle soul, yet you were very protective of everyone. Oh how I regret the day we had to turn you into a statue, but your mother always worried about you. You were our only son, our miracle from God. We would forget that you were gone because we would always go to your room and say Good morning or Good night, but then we would remember and sadly walk away. I miss you so much son, I will never teach you things ever again or hug you when you were feeling sad. In the future, please protect yourself from everyone. I wish we could be there to meet your wife or husband. I love you son and please remember to always be kind and gentle in this world full of chaos and rage.

Yoongi sobbed and cried while reading the last letters that his parents wrote to him. It felt bittersweet knowing that they were gone but never lost the love for him. He missed them so much, but he knows that he will see them once again

Yoongi: I miss and love them so much. I'll always be their Pretty Boy.  He smiles while his tears run down his cheeks.

Tae hugs him from the back and puts his chin on Yoongi's shoulder.

Tae: Your parents loved you so much Yoonie hyung, I bet they are smiling right now knowing that you are safe with me.
Yoongi turns around and hugs Tae. Tae looks down at him and wipes Yoongi's tears.

Yoongi: Thank you for saving me Taehyung-ah, I wouldn't have had the chance to read these letters if it weren't for you. I love you so much. My mom also said that we should get married and I agree with her.

Tae: I love you too Yoongi-hyung. Anything for you, in the future we will get married. We should just start as boyfriends now because we're still young. 

Yoongi: Promise?
Tae: I promise.
Yoongi: You are a gift from God that I will forever cherish.

Tae's dad: I'm still right here boys, should I go? I don't want to ruin the moment.

Yoongi turns and looks at Tae's dad, he then runs to him and gives him a huge hug.

Yoongi: Thank you for turning me into a statue, I wouldn't have met your handsome son if it weren't for your spell. I owe you a lot.

Tae's dad: You don't owe me anything, your majesty.

Yoongi: You'll be my Father-in-Law soon so that's how I will owe you.

Tae's dad looks at Yoongi with wide eyes, but then smiles at him with the same boxy smile that his son has.

Tae's dad: I will let my son marry you, I'll give him my blessings. Just not now, he's still in high school.

Yoongi nods and Tae wraps his arms around Yoongi's waist.

Tae: What should we do with your gifts?
Yoongi: I don't know, but my mom said to use it for money? I don't know how to do that.
Tae: You should just keep them.
Yoongi: Okay, love.
