The Finale

(Two months later)

"Mal come on!" Ben was yelling and ran up to Mal's room.

"I'm coming!" Mal called out and opened the door.

"Can we go now?" Ben asked.

"Yeah. Come on let's go." Mal grabbed his hand and pulled him downstairs. "Bye Mom!"

They ran out to Ben's car. "First day of summer here we come!"

"You mean beach here we come." Mal corrected.

"Okay." Ben said rolling his eyes while smiling.

They arrived at the beach to see Evie, Doug, Jay, Carlos, and Harry all waiting for them.

"It's about time you guys got here." Jay pretended to complain.

"Blame Mal." Ben joked and Mal nudged him. "He coming?" Ben looked at Harry.

"Yeah he'll be here." Harry replied.

Ben gave Harry a suspicious look.

"What you don't believe me?" Harry asked shocked.

"Well he did bail last time." Ben smirked.

"He'll be here!" Harry said, then his phone went off.

"You were saying?" Ben said still smirking.

Harry rolled his eyes, then tackled Ben into the sand. Ben quickly got up and Harry chased him into the water.

Mal watched them play fighting and Ben push Harry into the water. Then Ben get hit by a wave. 

"How you holding up?" Evie sat down beside Mal.

"What do you mean?" Mal looked over at her.

"With the whole Harry and Ben thing." Evie replied.

"I'm doing good. I wouldn't have done what I did if I wasn't okay with it." Mal explained.

(A few months ago)

"Ben can I talk to you about something?" Mal wondered.

"Is this about wanting to more than friends again?" Ben replied asking.

"No. It's not our time yet. It's about you and Harry." Mal told Ben.

"What about me and Harry?" Ben questioned.

"Ben I know you like Harry. And I'm okay with that." Mal said.

"I don't like...." Ben started.

"Ben it's okay." Mal smiled and kissed Ben's cheek.

"What about me and you though?" Ben wondered.

"We'll be together when it's our time." Mal reminded him.

"So you're okay with this?" Ben checked.

"Yes Ben." Mal nodded still smiling.

(Present time)

"When are you gonna tell Ben the truth?" Evie asked.

"The truth?" Mal responded.

"That it's your turn now. For you two to be together. That you are still in love with Ben." Evie reminded her.

"Not now. If Ben is happy. Then I'm happy." Mal said.

As they were talking Harry was trying to stand up from the waves. Ben looked over at Mal and was watching her.

"How could let her go? You need to get her back and tell her that you're still in love with her." Ben said to himself.
