Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, J-hope, V, Suga, and I were all sitting around our work table trying to see who could keep from laughing the longest when my phone rang with the basic alarm sound. I reached for my cell and the phone read : 'Incoming call from Mom'. I told the guys I would be right back and that I had to take my call outside of the room. I picked up the call and the other side was silent. "Mom, is everything okay? It's unusual that you would call me this time of day." My Mom then answered me, "Sorry, son, look, I need to tell you something face to face, meet me at Carl's Cafe in half an hour."
I re-enter the room with a concerned look on my face and to find Jungkook standing against the wall waiting for me to come back, he pulls me to the side and asks, " What's wrong? I can tell something isn't right." I reply, " My Mom called me and sounded a little surprised and shook up so I'm not sure if I'm okay, I have to meet her in 30 minutes." Jungkook replied, "Look, stay for a few more minutes and go visit your Mom, I'll tell the guys what's up when you leave." I simply thank him and return to the table.
We are all signing different contracts to finalize our lyrics and music video for Boy With Luv featuring Halsey. We are pretty much just saying that we own all rights and ideas of the song and video. Halsey isn't present, she had an emergency back home. I look at my watch and it reads 25 after, I have to go, like now. I grab my stuff and rush out the door, I could tell they all wanted to know what was up, but they stayed silent and let me leave.
I started to reach the Cafe when I saw my mom sitting down at a red and white table with 2 black coffees. I sat down and immediately asked, " Mom what's happening? I'm really worried and confused." She brushed her brown hair out of her eyes and said one thing i will never forget...
"Namjoon, you have a brother."
