Bang. Bang. Bang.
"Someone's hitting me in the head with a hammer," I think to myself. Bang. Bang. Bang. But it feels off, the sounds of banging aren't matching the pounding I am feeling in my head. Beep. Beep. Beep. I open my eyes to see an eager boy's face right in front of mine.
The boy smiles and shouts,"She's awake!" Some lady in white shakes her head and mutters something I can't hear over this loud pounding. I look around the room I'm in; white tiled floors, white walls, and a white ceiling. I can still hear the beeping, but when I look to my left side (the opposite of the boy) I see a heart monitor. Suddenly, it all clicks.
"I'm in a hospital," I whisper, and I try to cover my eyes as tears flow out.
"Here, take this," the boy says as he hands me a box of tissues. I then realize he was the last thing I saw before I saw no more. I hate him.
"What the hell is your fucking problem," I say as loud as I can manage, "can't you just have let me die in peace!?" He just smiled and pat my head.
"Nope," he replied as he got up and left the room. As the door to the room closed behind him I heard him say, "Seeya soon," And I drifted back into a dreamless sleep.
