i woke up to the loud ass voice of my father who i've been going running with in the morning recently.

i rolled over, "fuccccck, what time is it?" i groaned, picking up my phone.

my dad walked into my room, "5:30, just like every other morning. you coming today right?" he asked, flipping on the light switch.

my father and i usually go running every morning.

"sorry dad, not today, i'm a lil under the weather." i replied, feeling extra groggy since i was under the tiring effects of smoking.

"alright, i'll bring you back donuts? glazed & double chocolate?"

"yes dad," i said, pulling the blanket over my head. "now turn off the light please, love you!"

he flipped off the light and walked out of my room, closing the door on the way out.

i closely listened to the noises he made, just to make sure he walked out the house.

my mom left for work and my dad was gonna be out for 2 hours, just some alone time now.
