"flight A-113 final call" I heard-the flight attendant say, as I looked over at my mother, standing from her chair in the airport terminal

"that's my last chance mom" I said looking at her eyes, red and puffy from crying

"I know dear, just remember I love yo very much and you are always welcome back home" she says placing a hand in my shoulder

"I love you too mom" I said, turning and boarding the plane, fighting bak tears. I found my seat and pulled my phone out of my carry on and put my headphones in. I felt a tap on my shoulder

"I someone sitting here" the boy asked motioning at the sets next to

"nope" I said forcing a smile

"do you mind if I-" he started

"not at all" I said smiling moving my bag and letting the boy sit

" where you headed" the boy asked before I could put my headphones back in

"I'm going to Michigan " I said remembering the papers I needed to sign in my bag

"oh how fun, that's where I'm going too" he says

"well isn't that interesting " I said sarcastically

"I'm Trevor by the way" he says

"I'm Danielle" I replied, taking my other headphone out and placing it in my bag

"that's a lovely name for a lovely girl" Trevor says making me blush

"please remember to turn off your cellphones and enjoy the flight " the flight attendant says over the speaker. I reached into my bag for a piece of gum

" would you like a piece" I offered

"sure thanks" Trevor says taking a piece

"yup, I always chew I piece when I fly, It helps my ears not pop" I said putting the gum in my mouth

"that's cool, I might just start doing that now" Trevor says placing his hand on mine on the arm rest

"oh sorry" he says retracting his hand

"oh no it's fine " I said

"so are you staying with anyone in particular I'm Michigan" he asks

"not really " I said shyly

"well I would love it if you stayed with me" he says placing his hand back on mine, this time not moving it

"ok" I said as his fingers drew shapes in my hand, this was sure to be a good flight.
