Falling For The Blue Eyed Boy

It was tough moving all the time but dad promised this would be the last time we moved. But then again he said that when we moved to California.

Today is the day I leave beautiful California and move to North Carolina.

We've been living in California for 3 years so I figured we were done moving, considering we would move every year to a different state, but I guess not.

I'm really going to miss California and all of my friends.

The hardest part is going to be saying goodbye to my bestfriend Hana, who was so nice to me the second I moved to California.

I'm headed to her house right now.

Most of our things were already at our new house in North Carolina.

I was almost too scared to walk up to her door step cause I was scared to say goodbye.

I never really made any friends when we moved cause I knew I would just end up leaving them but I figured we would stay in California so we grew closer and now here I am, questioning whether I should ring her doorbell or just walk away.

I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

The door opened. Hana beat me to the chase. She didn't even give me a chance to ring the doorbell. I noticed she was also crying.

"Hi," she said.

"Please don't cry."

"How can I not cry my bestfriend is moving across the country!" She reached out and hugged me.

"I'm sorry. I never thought this day would come."

"Just make sure you come back and visit! and you better text me everyday!" she let go of me and looked me in the eye. "And promise no matter what happens we'll always be bestfriends."

"No one could ever replace you and you know that."

"I know." she flipped her hair. We both laughed. "So this is goodbye?"

"Don't think of this as goodbye! think of it as 'see you soon'"

"Alrighty. See you soon bestfriend"

I hugged her once more and walked to the car. She waved at me as we drove down the street until we were out of sight.
