Chapter 1

I wake up to my alarm clock or in other words my mother yelling up the stairs for me to get up. It's the worst alarm clock ever it doesn't even have a snooze button.

Beginning of the school year great..... Another year of being unnoticed and the shy, quiet person in the background. I like it that way thought.

"Isabelle come you have to go soon." My mom screams up the stairs. Uh I HATE getting up in the morning and for school! My mom eventually quotes down and I try to go back to sleep.

I hear the door creek open, but I choose ignore it. If I ignore something it will go away right? RIGHT.

Just as I'm starting to fall back asleep I hear some pots and pans being crashed against each other. I jump out of bed as fast as I could.  Grunting as I look up to see my dad and younger brother laughing at me. Uh, my dad is almost more immature than my brother and that's saying something.

"What the heck? You could have woken me up the normal way." I scream. Uh brothers and immature fathers.

"What would be the fun in that?" They answer at the same time and then high-five each other . Sometimes I swear they are the same person . My brother and father are exactly the same, pranking me whenever they can but when it comes to looks Matt Jr. is totally different from my father. Dad has blonde hair and sky blue eyes, I have inherited his blue eyes but mine are a deeper blue and have a little green tint to them. While my brother is has brown hair with dark brown eyes, like my mom. I have mom's brown, thick, hair.

Sighing I get out of bed and I give my family members a final glare telling them to get out or I will kill one of them. With that they stomp out of the room, heads sagging down.

Shuffling to my clothes I look in my full length mirror and look at myself in the reflection. I am a short person coming in at 5'3, with a little bit longer than shoulder length brown hair. My eyes are blue-green as I stated before, nothing to out of the ordinary. I am not over weight but I am not supermodel skinny but I don't want to be. All in all I will never be desired by anyone because I am an ordinary person, combined with my shy personality it's more likely that I will become a cat lady when I am older. If you don't know me you would never notice me in a crowd, I blend in very good and I try to hide. It works out really well.

When I reach my drawer and pick out a cream colored tee shirt and some snug jean shorts. I pull on my flats and some fake glasses and head out the door. I wear fake glasses because people always look past the people with glasses on and as I have said I do not want to be noticed at all.

Mom is cooking scrambled eggs as I head into the kitchen. The smell of the delicious eggs overwhelmed me.

"Good morning mom." I say to my beautiful mother. She is a mid forty woman with no gray hair with kind brown eyes and shoulder length dazzling hair.

"Good morning honey." She answers. I walk up and hop into a seat. She sends me a bright smile and I send her one back. This is a every morning routine I always walking in to breakfast and we booth smile as wide as we can. Our theory is if you always start your day out with a frown then how are you going to be happy throughout your day so we always make sure to start our day out with a smile. I push my glasses back to the bridge of my nose as my mom slides me a plate of eggs. I take my fork and dig in.

My mom and I are really close. I am really close to my dad but my mom and I are just inseparable. Ever since I was a little girl it was always me and her in the kitchen baking cupcakes or some other kind of delicious treat. She has always been my rock when I am about to fall off the edge of insanity and I am so thankful for her in my life.
