Never mind the fact that no one can see or hear her. Her main problem was that she was just stuck there, unable to move on to heaven or hell or wherever it was that she was supposed to go. Being a ghost- or 'shade'- was lonely and boring.
That is until one day, her friend Scott McCall can finally see her.
