So it's been three days since Cal told Emily. Now he needs to tell Gillian. Shall we?

"CAL! CAL!" Gillian came running down the hall from her office holding the all too familiar blue folder. She had her usual dress and high heels on but the dress was a vibrant red and shoes a plain patent black. Her bobbed hair was in slight curls and make-up her usual: minimal.

"Alright am just here no need to shout to some poor bloke in New York or somethin'. What's up?" He gave her a slight look up and down silently admiring his partners beauty.

"We just got a case file from the-"

"Please don't say FBI?" He gave her a disgusted look as she smiled at his hatred for them.

"No, Cal! Remember we are no longer 'friends' with the FBI. Anyway it's from a man called Dick oh! No sorry Duke Somerhare. I need to speak to Loker about his handwriting." she squinted at the paper. Which for some reason had not been typed up.

"Ha! You definitely meant to say Dick! You naughty girl." he winked at her and took the folder.

"He's in here. And so what if I did." she mumbled smirking as they entered the conference room. Where they could see through the glass that the man was getting very anxious.

"Duke this is Dr. Cal Lightman. The founder of the Lightman Group. He is here to help you." Gillian introduced the two. As Cal reached over and shook his hand.

"So why you here?" Cal slouched back in his chair and did his usual arm-on-armrest-hand-holding-face position.

"Eh well I fear for well my wife's life." He bent across the table whispering the last part in his slight British accent, as if he was being watched.

"Well we all do don't we? So you need to tell u what we can do." Cal explained now with Gillian resting her hand on his shoulder, holding her steady. He had to admit that he enjoyed that.

"Well I think her and my bodyguard are having an affair and I need you to find out if it's true or not." he said warily.

"Right well how much you gonna pay us then?"

It was an hour later and Cal and Gillian were finally walking out the conference room.

"How bloody long does it take to tell us a 'few details'? He might as well told us his bloody life story!" Cal said having had to listen to the middle aged man ramble on because, according to Gillian, it's good manners.

"How about we-"

"Hey guys! Loker and I got something on the wife. Do you wanna see now or-"

"Listen, Torres, if I ever come out of an hour long meeting again and you get something. Unless it's absolutely urgent and can't wait, you don't tell me till a half hour later. Alright?" He held her at arms length looking down at her with tired eyes.

"Oh OK. I'll come see you in a half hour." she turned and walked away and he turned back to see Gillian watching with something, he couldn't tell what, but she had something in her eyes that he couldn't read. Then in a flash it was gone and she was smiling again.

"Ready?" she asked with her arm extended towards his office.

"For what?"

"We are going to sit in your office for a little while because that meeting was too long! I'll grab the coffees you go ahead."

"No it's fine, love. I'll get 'em." he walked off to get the coffees and she went to his office.

As she sat down in the plump sofa in his office she checked the time.
