while jonah tried to fall asleep to the sound of the rain, daniel james seavey tried to stay awake. not because he had a pending assignment to complete or an important test to prepare for but only because he was afraid to sleep. at the age of seven daniel was diagnosed with noctambulism .a  sleepwalking disorder. daniel and his family didn't think much of it until one day daniel tried to kill his own sister anna. daniel was traumatized. anna was moved out of daniel's room. this was a week ago. daniel hasn't slept since then. his eyes were red and his body was weak but daniel managed to stay awake.

he heard the rain drops wipe against his window, as the events of the terrible night kept flashing past his eyes. his hands held on to the window  for support, his eyes slowly shutting down. daniel falling asleep to the song of the rain. 

daniel slept peacefully his body demanding the rest it required. but soon something that daniel feared occurred, he began sleepwalking again. his legs pulled him leading him to the front door. he unlocked the door with no trouble and walked out of the house, not realizing what he had just done.
