Piper couldn't believe it had been 6 years since Gaea had nearly destroyed everything she loved and cared for.  She was resting on Jason’s shoulder in Central Park, enjoying the cool breeze of the late summer.  They had recently come back from a visit to New Rome.  With Frank and Reyna in control, the two camps often visited each other even though the last capture the flag they had(Romans against Greeks)lasted until the sun started to rise, both sides not wanting to give up.  This happened until Reyna made a run for it, passing the half asleep-half distracted Greeks and getting the flag for the win.   She and Jason were taking their degree in New York and were able to meet Ms. Jackson and Mr. Blofis(Ms. Jackson gave both them blue candy in a bright blue bag).  Percy and Annabeth were in New Rome along with Leo and Calypso. 

Camp Jupiter had visited during the weekend a month after the Gaea incident. During the campfire sing along a  Jason tapped her on the shoulder and pointed at the sky, but she already heard it before she saw it.  Fireworks were shooting into the sky spelling ‘ALL DA LADIES LUV LEO VALDEZ’ and Festus(the whole Festus!) descended with Leo and a girl with her arms around his waist.  ‘So, who missed me?’ he grinned.  Piper showed him how much she missed him with with a punch in the gut and a hug with tears pouring down her cheek.  She tried to look mad but she was too glad to see him.  The girl had introduced herself as Calypso even though we had all knew her name from Leo.  She hugged all of us even though Percy looked a bit, uncomfortable?  She smiled at him as if saying, ‘No problem, it’s alright now’ and hugged him like the others.  Piper felt as if they already met.  Percy told Calypso that night, ‘I still have the moonlace’ though Piper didn’t understand what that meant.  The others also greeted Leo with punches and hugs and tears and glares. 

Anyway, Leo and Calypso were taking their degree with Percy and Annabeth in New Rome.    Rachel had miraculously gained her power back a year after Apollo was punished by Zeus so small quests have been popping up everywhere.  Apparently(Annabeth had told her), Reyna was dating a new centurion called Christian Mavis and Frank and Hazel were letting her rest for a bit by doing most of her duties.  Nico had recently graduated and the majority of Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter were there which made him say that it ‘was a bit much for a graduation’ but he seemed contented.  Everything was back to, ‘Well I guess you could call it normal’ she said to herself one day.  But since when was any of their lives normal? She liked a life like that, though peace and quiet was nice for change. 

‘What are you thinking?’ Jason asked breaking her thoughts, ‘You seem stressed.’ 

Piper laughed,’If you think I’m stressed, you don’t know me very well.’

‘I know you well enough’ he smiled and kissed her.

He stood up and offered her his hand.  She took it and he asked, ’Let’s walk? ’

So they continued, they continued their walk, their friendship, their lives. And they're still going.
