Could you do it? Could you choose between the world, or your world? Would you sacrifice the thing you love most, or sacrifice everyone else? Todoroki was a hero, he knew he should be picking the second option. Yet, when he was face to face with that very situation, he couldn't do it.

It started as a normal day, just as all days do. Yet, today, class I-A was graduating. They had survived, and even thrived going into high school. All of them had grown harder, faster, and stronger. Todoroki could now use his ice and fire in tandem, and his fire was now a spectacular blue color. Midoryia had gained control of his quirk, becoming stronger than everyone, exceeding all expectations. Bakugou could now create blasts the size of skyscrapers, or the size of nail heads. They had all grown, going from children to adults. They were all excited, but none were as excited as Todoroki.

He was happier than he had ever been in his life, having had a long and lasting relationship with Midoryia. Just days ago, he had gotten down on one knee, a box in his hand. Shouto has cried many times in his life, but never had he cried so hard while being so happy. For the first time he felt complete. As if he was on a permanent high, one that sent him miles higher than he's ever been. Midoryia was his world, his light, his life. He would do anything for him, just to see that bright smile that filled Todoroki with purpose. Now as they get ready to graduate, people surrounded the lovers. They were congratulated heavily as the class was excited to see there first couple go such a long way.

Bakugou himself was even smiling, hands interlocked with a certain red haired boy. After all these years of being stubborn, shutting his feelings inside, this boy had managed to break him down. He would never admit it, but it felt nice to finally be able to depend on someone, to be wanted. How he had wanted this for so long, and now it was finally here. He could care less about being the number one hero at this point, Kirishima was more important than all of that.

Everyone was happy, excited, and thrilled. There was a bittersweet feeling to it, since this was the last time they would all be seeing each other, but the excitement managed to drown out all of the sadness. How they all wished to be trapped in that moment forever, eternally happy.

However, the happiness wouldn't last much longer, the world was about to change, and it had all started as just another day.

Shouto had to excuse himself to the restroom, leaving for only five minutes. How funny, his life would change in just five minutes. He left everyone for five minutes, and now he would never see them again.

He didn't know what happened, no one really did. Yet when he came back from the restroom, he could feel something was off. When he left he could here the loud conversations and shouts of joy from down the hallway. Now, you could here a pin drop. The silence was oddly loud as Todoroki approached the classroom door, peering through the glass window. When he looked, a nightmare greeted his eyes.

There was so much blood, it covered everything, coating the window to where he could barely even see inside. Yet what he did see sent waves of nausea and shock through his entire body, shaking his core. Bodies, grotesque bodies splayed across the class room as if they were decorations. He could see large bite marks on all of them with the flesh around it turning a nasty green. It was as if an animal had ravaged their bodies. Even more disturbing was the fact that they were all twitching, flesh still pulsating, blood still leaking out of them like a leaky barrel. Some had large holes in their stomachs displaying there organs in a horrific manner. The worst part? They were all still alive, clutching their wounds, desperately trying to cry out, only to have blood spurt out of there mouths. Their eyes were filling up with a mixture of blood and tears as they died, right in front of Shouto's eyes, as he was helplessly frozen in fear and grief.

He could identify all of them, Mina, Sero, Kaminari, Tsu, Uraraka, Mineta, Iida, Tokoyami, Kirishima. All these names flooded his head as he saw all of his classmates lying there like slaughtered sheep. His heart was racing, pumping his body full of adrenaline. Yet a single name stood out to him as he searched the room. Midoryia.....Midoryia.....where is Midoryia. Yet the blood prevented him from seeing the entire classroom. He was trying his best not to panic, but when he looked at the other classrooms, he realized the worst had happened. Blood, blood leaked out from under the doors of other classrooms and stained there windows.
