This was what Hitoshi wanted his entire life. He had wanted to lock lips with [Y/N] since the beginning, but he never expected it was her who would make the move. Neither did he expected her to do at such a perfect moment. The moment where it the sky brushes them with its tint and where the soft, lulling waves splash below. It made him love her even more, more than he could think possible as electricity passed through their mouths.
Her hair was so soft underneath his fingers and her lips kept on pulling him in. He never wanted the kiss to end....he wanted to be there with her forever, but the moment [Y/N] pulled away to take deep breaths, he knew he wouldn't be able to kiss her again.
Her beautiful face was all red as she touched her lips in shocked. "I'm so sorry Hitoshi. What did I do?! I must've scared you like that? Dammit, why did I kiss you?" she gasped, looking around nervously.
His heart squeezed as he threw out the terrifying question. "Do you regret kissing me?" he asked.
She ducked her head down and fiddled with her fingers. "I....I don't know...." she whispered. "I...just know that I like you."
Instantly, he was floating among the clouds. Vibrant colors appeared in his vision and a grin couldn't help but grow on his face. His heart was bursting of joy and he couldn't hold it in. Grasping [Y/N]'s arms with a few tears in his eyes, he hugged her tightly. She slightly flinched, but allowed him to, waiting for an explanation. "[Y/N]. I like you too. You have no idea how much I like you."
He let go to see her expression and when he did, he saw that her eyes were wide and her dainty mouth dropped. "Y-you do?!" she stuttered. "I never thought you did."
"I've liked you since the day we met," he said with a smile.
"Really?!" she replied, shocked once again. "I didn't find out about my feelings until just recently."
He reached out and stroked her silky hair in a calming manner. "I know that. You were still struggling with emotions and everything, so I knew you couldn't like me back then. But what matters the most is that you like me back now."
He scooted closer to her and made a gesture to rest her head on his shoulder. She looked embarrassed, but did what he asked for. The place where she laid her head on brought on goosebumps under his shirt. Still in that position, she took a deep breath. "You're always so kind, Hitoshi. That was why I started to like you," she told him. "But what I don't understand is why you like me. I'm not that great."
"You're greater than anyone I've ever known," he argued. "You've always had that aura where you stood your ground and did what you've always believed in. It was pretty much love at first sight."
Her cheeks blushed and she smiled. Her smile made him want to just dive right back into another kiss. He was so, so, so proud of her. She had gone a long way from being emotionless to now being happy.
He looked back out into the horizon and suddenly realized how dark it was getting. "I'm pretty sure I have to get you back home by now," he pointed out sadly. She lifted her head from his shoulders and nodded, also looking sad. He stood up and held his hand out to her. Gulping she grabbed onto it and they walked all the way to his car holding hands. The tingles that went from her tender skin to his felt amazing.
Getting into his car, they let go of each other's hand and he started the drive back to [Y/N]'s house. When they arrived, it was hard for him to unlock the door to let her leave.
"I don't want you to go," he couldn't help but say.
"We'll see each other on Monday," she assured him.
"I'm already missing you right now," he chuckled.
"I'll miss you too," she shyly responded. "But I promise I'll be at school on Monday, so don't be sad."
He slowly nodded and went to unlock the door. She thanked him for the fun day and left, making him feel like he had already lost everything in a second.
You're my everything, [Y/N].
