Izuku Midoriya was chasing after katsuki bakugo like usual but on this particular night it wouldn't be the same.
Bakugo was walking at a slow pace when he heard a scream from behind him,he snapped his head in that direction to see the small green haired boy that was following him had turned into a sleeping child no older than 4 in his place.Katsuki walked over to him and picked him up."Damn it deku." He sighed as he carried the tiny,light child home in his arms.
When he arrived home he dug out his old all might onesie that was in the basement it had been washed before being packed away all those years ago and put into a airtight ziplock bag he took it upstairs and changed the young child into it leaving his under wear on.
The next day he woke up to find midoriya looking around with tears in his eyes,almost instantly he remembered that izuku was afraid of the dark when he was younger and the sunblock curtains made the room pitch black.He got up and opened the curtains then turned to the confused child."Hey deku...,"he said with a soft voice and comforting smile" it's ok!". The small child giggled "KACCHAN" he said with glee as he held his hands out for a hug of course the blonde softie picked up the child and cradled him."let's get you dressed hero"he said with a laugh"Yeah!" The small boy jumped around in bakugo's arms. Katsuki pulled out some old clothes and changed the child then he himself got dressed.
At school he was almost late he held the small little boy's hand who was nervous."Mr.aizawa..." he sighed picking up deku who was now in tears and carrying him in" we have a problem.." the whole class was gob-smacked which made izuku cry harder."hey calm down buddy, what would all-night do?" He asked the young boy who looked at him "h...he would be b..brave."the boy said "so what are you gonna do?" Katsuki asked already knowing the answer."BE BRAVE!" Little izuku said with a bunch of giggles causing bakugo to smile but when he looked at his class they were all just shocked that he could be nice " what." He asked his smile dropping. Uraraka walked up to him "Can I hold him?Please~" she asked practically begging Bakugo looked at izuku who was clinging on to his shirt."I don't think he knows who you are..." Bakugo said to the disheartened girl who saw the small boy nuzzle his head into katsuki's shoulder.
"How old is he?" Mr.aizawa asked."4"
"Then his quirk should be manifesting."The teacher said "Uhhhh about that...Deku is a late bloomer..."katsuki replied.
"No need to fear...cause I am here!" The small boy's head which was tucked away shot up at those words and he was ecstatic katsuki put the boy down who immediately raced towards the man"ALL-MIGHT!!" The little boy shouted the rest of the class just fell into a synchronised "awwww"
"Young...er midoriya?" All might asked in confusion as he lifted the small fragile boy."yeah...he was hit by an ageing quirk which....turned him into his 4 yr old self." Katsuki explained as he leaned against his desk.
The small boy saw a scary looking student who stared at him and started to cry..."ka..chan...scary!" The boy exclaimed Bakugo walked over to all-might who was extremely confused and took the boy knowing fine well what has happend." I forgot to mention he can't see anything that is scary in anyway so...," bakugo notice a small purple boy attempting to touch izuku. "mineta stay away from him! Anyway he is incredibly jumpy so loud noises...scary masks heck even kirishima's teeth,no offence,would scare him" The whole class looked at him with confusion "How do you know so much about him at this age?" Iida asked with his signature hand movements."I grew up with him dumbass!" Katsuki replied "ow! Deku no pinching!" He said after feeling a sharp pain on his shoulder"No swearing kacchan!" The small boy looked at him with annoyance in his eyes."fine..."he grumbled as the small boy cuddled back in."Can I get on with my class now?". Katsuki took a seat and sat midoriya on his but he clambered down half way through mr.aizawa's talk and crawled onto katsuki's lap he looked at the small boy in confusion but then realised the boy falling asleep and just rolled with it.
Back at the dorms Bakugo sat deku on his lap on the couch and after about an hour they were discovered asleep with bakugo lying down cuddling deku with one arm as deku used the other as a pillow as he cuddled into bakugo's chest which was now wearing a black shirt.Phones immediately wer whipped out and pictures were took. Some boys were chuckling not thinking that bakugo could be such a softie and all the girls were just exchanging looks and saying aww at the sight.
The noises coming from around the room woke bakugo up who simply said in a hushed voice "wake him up and your dead"before getting back to a comfortable position and sleeping again.
After a few hours izuku woke up in a empty dark room. He started crying due to the fright.Uraraka and Katsuki came rushing in uraraka picking him up and passing him to bakugo who started stroking the boy's hair for reassurance "who's room is this uraraka?" The girl thought then recognised it."It's kaminari's.why?"
"Deku was afraid of the dark...OI PIKACHU GET YOUR ASS THROUGH HERE NOW!" He screamed still trying to calm the crying boy in his arms."yeah bakugo?"he asked walking up."Why was deku in your room?!" He asked obviously pissed,still stroking the boy's head."I don't know!Wait he was in my room...But I have like scary shit man I wouldn't put him there!!"...
