Chapter Four

"Rain, that is quite a statement to say without positivity."

"Clover, I know it is truly ok. That is why I need to get this meeting going."

He grabbed my arm stopping me from entering the big house. 

"Rain, you look like you are going crazy and vegly you sound it too."

I knew he was right on the look part. I knew my eyes were bloodshot and had dark circles under them. I didn't bother to straighten my hair so it was in crazy curls sticking out in random spots. my t was wrinkled and my shorts were thrown on and did not match the blue shirt I was wearing. I had no socks on with my running shoes. I turned to look at him. 

"I may look the crazy but I know for a fact she is awake."

"With what proof, Rain! You are going to start a panic. you realize that right?"

"Good because she is awake and I have a lot to do than worry about that shit. You have a choice. You don't have to tell the campers about Jörmungandr, but by keeping it from them they are not going to be prepared for the fight coming."

I wanked my arm from his grip and walked in with the screen door slamming behind me. I walked into the meeting room where my group was sitting. Some held nervous looks and others looked dead calm but their bouncing feet or fiddling fingers said a different story. 

"Glad you all could make it at the short notice."

"Just spit it out Rain. Ice made it sound urgent just be straight forward."

I looked at Threya who had an angry expression but I could see the worry in her eyes. 

"Jörmungandr is awake. We need to split four from the group, two to Ohio and another two to the south coast ink shop. Lila, you need to set a power boom large enough to make people start moving to the east coast. Anything you can do, you need to do. Make sure at least three states over sense it. That includes South America too. We have low time to work with..."

"Wow, hold on how do you know this?"

I moved my guise to Jimmy who looked at me like I was full of shit and this was a joke. I let out a frustrated sigh. 

"I just do ok! I have visions. We don't have time for storytime!"

"Rain, you need to slow down and explain how you got this information other than 'I just know' and 'I have visions'. The gods told us when we left we had five days."

I looked at Threya who was trying to take the calm side of things but I was feeling sick to my stomach. I couldn't say anything about the link or unspeakable things would happen to me. I could feel the panic rush through me. I looked at Ice but he had a blank expression of I don't know going on.

"She spoke to me. She built a mental link with me somehow. She is using me as a personal tracker of enemy movement just like she did with Fenrir during the first rise of the Midgard Serpent."

It was the biggest out of my ass like I have ever said but in the myths, they used to talk about the mental link she could create to make her prey go crazy but only when she was awake. I also used the panic in my voice to my advantage so I made it sound truthful and by the looks of fear that flashed through all of their expressions they bought it. 

"Ok then, who is going where?"

"Lash, I need you here along with the Greeks. Lila, you are the only one of the four along with the Styr who will go with my brother to find our mother. No arguing this. Shadow, Clint. You are going to Ohio for Lash's mom. You have her picture and address. Lash Teleport them semi-close to her location. The rest I need you here we need a direct attack plan that will catch her off her game. She is weakest when she first wakes. If my vision is correct she will appear out of the ocean by sunset."
