His 'Little' Secret [H.S] (Rewrite)

Chapter 7

Kendra's P.O.V:

I woke up with a massive headache because of yesterday. I cried too much that's why. I need to call the babysitter to take care of Darcy after Darcy got back from school because I have to come back late from work today, my boss needs me to do something. The babysitter is a 24 year old lady. She's very kind and sweet and her name is Lucy. I don't really know if she's available today.

I walked towards the mirror to look at myself. I cringed when I took a look. I felt like running away from myself. I look horrible. There are eye bags, my eyes are bloodshot red and my nose is red.

I dragged myself to the bathroom and took a long, relaxing bath. Letting all the memories of yesterday fade away. I took a deep breath in and let it out. I feel so much better than just now. I rinsed off one last time and finally got out of the bathroom.

I walked back to my room, and picked out an outfit for work. I decided to go with skinny jeans, white button up sleeveless shirt and a navy blue blazer. I sprayed on my Victoria Secret Bombshell perfume all over me.

I walked towards my make up table. I look into the mirror and my eyes are not as red as just now but eyebags are still visible.

I get started on the foundation and smeared it all over my face then apply concealer under my eyes, where the eyebags are. I then apply eyeliner, put on a little bit of mascara, apply blusher on my cheeks and finally apply red lipstick on.

Normal make up for work.

I walked in into Darcy's room. She's still sleeping peacefully but I need to wake her up. I got to go to work and she have school.

"Darcy, sweetheart, Darcy wake up hun. It's time for school. Baby," i shook her body, gently.

She stirred and rubbed her eyes before opening it. She yawned and i chuckled softly.

"Mommy where's daddy?" She asked.

Oh god, what am I going to say?

"Daddy's not here, Dars"

"He left us again?" She asked, her voice cracking.

I nodded.

"awe, daddy..." she pout, shaking her head.

"Enough talking about Daddy, it's time to go to school!" I said, excitedly. Cheering her up. I don't want her to go to school, upset.

She run to the bathroom and close the door to bathe.

She's young to bathe alone but she saw me doing it so she wanted to try it. I kept practising her, so now she knows how to bathe alone.

I went downstairs to make breakfast for Darcy and me and also pack Darcy's lunch for school.

I decided to make pancakes with eggs! Delicious! I placed the food on the the dining table and proceed on packing Darcy's lunch. I took her lunchbox and put in a packet of Milo and put in a small box of Coco Crunch.

Right when I put the lunchbox in Darcy's school bag, she came down the stairs.

"Morning sweetheart, I made breakfast!" I said.

"Morning to you too mommy! What are we going to be having for breakfast?" She asked.

"Pancakes and eggs!" I said excitedly, knowing pancakes are her favorite food.

"Yay!" She said, cheerfully.

"Come on and eat muchkins! You're going to be late for school!" I said.

She skipped towards the dining table and took a seat beside me. She poured 'Maple Syrup' all over her pancakes and started eating. I smiled and started eating too.
