Isaiah's POV
I didn't know how to bring a 5 year old girl such bad news. It was not only going to hurt her, but me too. This could possibly break our family apart.
"Well are you gonna tell me?" She asked with hope in her eyes.
"I'm sorry but daddy is not going to be around for a very long time." I told her with guilt in every word.
"What do you mean? You said he was coming home soon." She said starting to tear up.
"I'm sorry princess but the people called today and told me. Daddy's in jail." I told her not looking directly at her.
"Isn't that place for bad people?" She said with 3 tears following.
"There's a lot we didn't know about dad." I told her truthfully.
Half the stuff he did none of us knew about. Not me, not mom, not my two sisters, no one.
That's why I'm a little shocked at the stuff they told me about him on the phone.
"Zai zai can we take a nap?" She asked me sniffleing.
"Of course"I told her
I grabbed both of my sisters and we payed on the couch. I waited till they fell asleep, then drifted of slowly.
Hey guys sorry for the long wait. I'm back to update all my stories. In the next chapter India will be 15 years old. So I'm gonna be skipping a lot of years. Sorry it's so short it's just a little filler.
