Listen closely, child dear.
You soon will have nothing to fear,
Save yourself.
Inside your closet? No monster there!
Not under your bed nor under your chair
The monster is inside of you.
Yes, other kids are very mean,
But the likes of you, they've never seen.
Everyone fears you.
My precious child, my shining gem,
Burglars are fine, don't worry about them.
You can escape the bad people.
Daddy didn't die of disease.
He left this world because he pleased.
You can't escape yourself.
I wish to join your father soon
Your sole companion will be the moon.
Join me
Now that you know there's nothing to fear,
My purpose is fulfilled, my time is near.
I will be in the next world.
From my heart, blood will soon seep,
But my love for you is much more deep.
Goodbye for now.
You listened closely, child dear
I hope I purged you of your fears,
And if I failed, I hope you see,
You still can join Daddy and me.
