Another average school day had come to an end in Paris, as the evening sun displayed a beautiful sunset that forced its way over the city, giving it a glorious glow.

As Marinette lay almost lifeless in her bed, she gazed upon the pictures on her wall. Sighing, Marinette dreamt about her love, Adrien Agreste. She thought about his natural golden locks and his crisp green eyes, about his perfect smile and dashing style. She imagined what it'd be like if she wasn't so awkward around him and if she didn't constantly stumble her speech whenever he spoke to her. She wondered if she'd ever be brave enough to express her feelings and tell him the truth. Her heart ached as she closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Holding his phone out in front of him, Adrien stared at the screen, watching the latest videos of ladybug that had been posted on Alya's Ladyblog. He sighed as he reminisced on all the times Ladybug and him had fought together, side by side. The more he saw her and the more he was around her, the deeper he fell in love. But unfortunately Ladybug didn't feel the same and she'd made that clear several times which, had broke Chat Noir's heart. But Chat lifted his head high again and still pursued to flirt and make mischievous comments to draw her attention although deep down he knew it would never work. Adrien turned his phone off and continued to practice his Chinese.

As the night settled in and the city fell asleep, Adrien lay still in his bed, restless and emotional. Not only was Adrien's love life issues keeping him up but his father caused him several troubles too.
"I don't know what to do Plagg," Said Adrien in a worried tone. "Firstly, I really want Ladybug to feel for me what I feel for her. It's breaking me into pieces and I don't know what to do!"
"Who needs girls when you've got Camembert!" Exclaimed Plagg.
"Oh Plagg you'll never understand," Replied Adrien.
"I-I wish my father cared for me. I really wish he did. I really wish he actually supported me and let me be me instead of forcing me to do these dumb photoshoots and these boring Chinese lessons."
"Everything will turn out fine before you know it Adrien! Just wait and you'll see. Anyways, I don't want to keep this cheese waiting! Goodnight!"
Adrien dimmed the lights and closed his eyes.
