Chapter 1

I woke up today felling tired already, you may wonder why? Why am i tired if i just woke up? Well let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Christopher West and I'm an omega, you may think is not bad being an omega and to be honest it shouldn't be, but here's the deal: my father and mother are high ranked on the pack and my sister too so me being born omega its not just weird but kind of the shame of the family in some pack members eyes. My family doesn't think like that though, they love me and they know pretty well that it's not my fault but some other pack members are just mean to me, they make me do task and jobs for the just to make my life harder.

Today is the day in which all omegas are going to be attending to the and I quote "Meeting to plan the ascension party of our beloved soon to be Alfa", you may be thinking why is the name so large? Well the head omega is an extremely hyperactive wolf and she always take everything to the extremes, cant say she doesn't do a good job, its because of her that all our duties are accomplished on time and without and single mistake (most of the time).

As I go to the meeting where we will be planning the ascension party of the current alpha soon Maximillian I find my sister in the training field

- -Hey sis, how's training? I ask and when she noticed me she comes and hug me

- -hey little bro, all good and you? Are you going the omegas meeting? How's party prep going? Haley says

I know she truly cares about me, and we're really close so she always ask me about everything that's going on in my life and I always tell her, besides she is like my best friend, its like my BFSF (best friend sister forever). She always defends me and helps e whenever she can, she has beaten up some guys for bullying me in the past so she is like my body guard from time to time.

- Im actually going there right now, hope I get a task in which I don't have to talked to other pack members, you know some of them hate me or despise me so I don't want to be given the "you are a disgrace" look I say

- Aw little bro, just don't mind those people, you know they're just stupid wolves who cant mind their own business Haley always says that and I know she wants the best but its hard to ignore that look every time you say anything

- ill try sis, but anyway I better get going its gonna be late and you know how Maria gets when you show up late to the meetings

- I know Chris, so you better run now its 9 o'clock now

As she says that I start running as fast as I can, the meeting is supposed to start at 9 o'clock but Maria the head omega says that if you don't arrive 15 minutes before you're late so imagine if I arrive after 9

After I get to the meeting that is in the pack school gym its 9:02 am so I get a seat an Maria looks and starts speaking

- Helloooo everyone!!!! She said with her annoying high pitch voice As you may know our Alfa has requested the traditional party for his son that is soon to be Alfa, isn't that amazing??!!

Ugh why in hell did the moon goddess gave her so much energy?

- So as you know its our duty to prepare and make sure everything go as planed to give the alpha and his son the best party that we can, in order to do that I have talked already with everyone in the pack to make sure everything is ready for the party that is going to be in 3 days from now

Friday? Did I hear correctly? Is the party on Friday? If you don't know I'm 17 and I'm turning 18 on Friday so that means that I will be working on my birthday and I wont have a chance at looking for my mate as any other wolf should

- So guys, I'm going to give each one the task you're assigned to accomplish, john you are on decorations, Gianna you are on cleaning duty, Fred...

As she continues to give task I can only think of my mate, when a werewolf turns 18 he or she is supposed to find that other person that completes him or her, his other half, the person that will love you forever and the person you cant live without. My birthday was supposed to be the day I was gonna find that person, that I was gonna feel complete, but I wont

I'm gonna be working and by that I mean that I wont be attending the party, all omegas are prohibited to go to high ends parties like this one but after we must go and clean all the stuff, so I wont have a single minute to go out and search for my mate, I wont be able to smell his or her scent, to look ant him or her in the eyes and know its my mate, to...

- Chris... CHRISTOPHER WEST ARE YOU LISTENING??!!!

I got out of my own thoughts to find Maria in front of me yelling my name with something in her hands

- Here you go, you are on invitation duty, you must go and handle every single pack member one invitation, if you don't find someone just leave the card in the house mailbox understood? Please don't mess this up kid

Great just the task I was hoping not to get

- Ok, thanks Maria

I say as I get the cards in those fancy envelopes, and as I get dismissed from the meeting so I can start my task I cant help but think... is this day getting any worse?
