I ambled on the almost deserted streets, once in a while being stopped by passers by for a photograph or an autograph. It was kind of galling but then again this is all that comes with being famous.

I wandered aimlessly thinking about life. It was a pleasant day. I wasn't interrupted by many. I missed being able to walk like a normal man, not a great deal of matter to the world, nobody even noticing that I passed by let alone even caring. Like a stone on the ground goes unnoticed. But then again life is not that bad. I am happy to be known, to be famous. I always dreamed of this great experience. The experience which I now term as 'life'.

It was close to seven. The clouds were rising like flames in the burning orange red sky as the day closed on to night and the sun set at the end of the road. Just as I was admiring the purple and blue colours forming a silent heaven I crashed into someone, making papers fly all around us.

I could hold myself but the one who I crashed into couldn't. It was a girl. A beautiful one I did say. She was fair, almost like ivory skinned. The wind ruffled her short hair as she picked up scattered parchment.

And me? Well I was gawking open mouthed at this enchantress in front of me. Her simple motions of gathering papers while trying to keep her hair off her face took me off guard.

"Are you gonna help or not?" she asked finally facing me. My eyes came in contact with her sparkly, big apple green ones. I was dazzled for the moment. My mouth opening and closing like a gold fish but no words escaping.

"What? Get down on your ass you idiot!" she exclaimed and that brought me out of my trance as I bent down hastily picking up all the scattered parchments and books. Once I got a few in a bundle she snatched them from me and gave me a glare. Hey! It's not just my fault and I wanted to say that but I couldn't.

I got up on my legs and offered her a hand which she refused and she shouldn't have because the next moment her feet mess up and she falls back again.  Just before she could hit the ground I get her by the waist holding her. It was like one of the scenes from the movies. Her eyes remained closed waiting for the impact. When she realized that it is not going to happen, she opens one eye and looks around and then finally opens the other. Eventually her green pair of orbs found mine and settled on them.

As if out of realization of our position and the fact that passers by were staring at us she shuffles out of my hold, a pink tinge on her cheeks. My cheeks turn red too and I look down at the ground, embarrassed.

"Thank you. " the words whispered out of her lips. Her bell like voice ringed in my ears.

"Your welcome." I said smiling. She looked up at me and flashed her pearly white teeth.

"The name's Louis Tomlinson." I said bringing my hand forward. She shook them as I held her small soft ones in my big tough ones.

" Madeline Starling."

" That's a charming name. "

" Thanks. Yours is good too, known as well." she replied smirking. I nodded back grinning. I noticed one of her books were still on the paved floor. I instantly bent down and handed it to her.

"Thanks again. " She said and took it from me.

"Well I'll get going." she replied and turned around. I stared at her slender frame walked away, hands full on books.

I'll admit I fell for this girl and pretty hard. No girl had ever had this kind of an effect on me before. I believe this sounds cliche but I felt a pull towards her. She smiled at me before taking the turn and then disappeared from my vision.

Would it be wrong to say that I really really wanted fate to meet us again?

Just as I turned the corner and was out of his sight, I smirked.

Louis Tomlinson, just the perfect target.
