Chapter III - Testing

Taehyung entered the dark gloomy room they called the,
"Testing Chamber"
He gulped as he saw the chair that he sat in a few hours ago.

Over the intercom.

"Taehyung, how you hanging in there bud?"

"I'm not your "bud"
Taehyung said glaring at the men on the other side of the glass window.

"Alrighty then, well you know the drill, put on the helmet"

With that being said Taehyung sat down in the chair and took a deep breath.
Then he picked up the metal dome, and put it on his head.

"Good job Tae, we'll begin in..."

"3,

2,

1."

It all went black.
Taehyung opened his eyes and was in his "mind" again.
He was floating in an all white area, well more like he was swimming, pretty much if you could swim in the sky.
He looked for memories or any energy segments they needed for the testing to be complete.
Then he heard a noise.

A child giggling?

He looked everywhere concerned and scared.
Where was the noise coming from.
Then he saw him.
"Y-yoongi?"
A child with brown hair wearing a hospital gown looked up at Tae.
"The bag Taehyung, the bag"
After he said that he dissapeared.
"Yoongi?YOONGI!?"
Then Taehyung yanked off the blindfold and broke down.
He was crying making the machine malfunction.
He stopped when he heard a soothing voice echo.
"Its alright Tae, if you stop crying, all of this will be over"
He sniffled.
"Noona?"

Irene smiled as she appeared infront of him.
"Yes, it's me, your noona, now do me a favor and be a big boy alright?"
Tae sniffled and nodded.
Irene looked at the men then nodded as a signal for them to continue testing.
Irene then backed away from Taehyung as she slowly dissapeared from Tae's view.
She left the room he was in as he put on the blindfold saying,
"I'm ready"

The doctors all nodded to each other as they pushed levers and pressed buttons getting the testing up and running.
Irene sntered the room with the doctors and looked at Tae as a female doctor then shouted.
"READY IN...."

"3!..."

"2!.."

"1!..."

With that being said 5 doctors pushed a glowing blue button at the same time.
Making the room dark.
Taehyung took a deep breath as he arrived in the dark place again.
He began to swim and float around and then heard a noise coming from his far right.
He slowly turned and faced the dark figure.

The figure wore a red hoodie and a black mask covering his face.
Along with black jeans and black combat boots.
He had brown hair covering one of his eyes.
"H-hello?"
Taehyung spoke as his words were being spoken through a speaker.
Irene smiled slightly as
she heard his voice, then her smile soon faded.
"What are you doing here?, How can you see me?"
The male figure spoke with a deep raspy voice.
Taehyung jumped.
He never spoke to an actual person here.

"I-i don't know, but who are you?"
The guy reached his hands up.
The doctors heard movement so they turned on Taehyung's mind cameras.
He pulled down his hoodie and mask as Irene had shock filled in her eyes, scared shock.
"Hoseok, Jung Hoseok."
He told Taehyung sternly.
"Oh, well that's great!, Uhh~ you can come with me! Back to the hospital, they'll help you there"
Taehyung box smiled and held out his hand to the guy.
The guy snickered a little and declined his offer.
"Sorry, but not today, I'll find you on my own"
Hoseok spoke and looked directly at the camera before smirking and speaking.
"Irene...."
Then the cameras turned black.

Irene was breathing heavily and hyperventilating.
She held her chest before running into the room Taehyung was in as he took off the blindfold.
"H-how does he know you-"
She cut him off.
"Don't worry about it"
She had a fake smile.
Taehyung could see the fear and worry in her eyes but knew to not talk about it right now.
So he nodded and stayed quiet.

The doctors turned off the machines and the testing was finally done.
Taehyung stood up from the chair and followed
Irene who was already heading down the hallway.
He dashed out the room and went to her grabbing her by the shoulders and turning her around.
She had teary eyes.
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows and became worried.
"N-noona...what's wrong?"
She was panting.

"He's coming"
