Chapter 5 : did i miss anything?

Y/N's POV-

It's been about like a week already and it's finally time to go on another long trip away from home. Me and Ari have been texting non stop and I think my drunk self made a good decision. I've always enjoyed going out whenever i can.

I never went out much when i was in high school and all i did was stay home all the time and watch Netflix if I didn't have school work, dance class or volleyball practice. Damn I really missed out on a lot during my teenage years. I wanted a good education and go to college and stuff. But now I can't solve a simple algebra problem and all i wanna do is live the dream and have fun even though I have a lot of stress and pressure on me sometimes. I guess all that studying went down the drain cause I can't rememberers single thing. It was all useless anyway.

Sammy was able to go with me on Ariana's plane which means i don't have to leave him with those neighbors again. I've missed him ever since i left for tour and I just want to spend these last few weeks with him before I go. Just as i finished packing, I decided to catch up on some Netflix while waiting for Ari to come pick up. My phone went off and i went over to answer without looking at the name.

"Hello?" I said while still eating chips.

"Heyyyy we're outside!" The person exclaimed. I immediately recognized that voice and smiled.

"ooh great! We'll be out in a bit hold on." I ended the call and stood up to grabbed my suitecases. I went over to Sammy

"Hey babyboy, we're gonna go on a little trip" I said as I pet his head and telling him to follow me outside the house. Ariana came out of the Cadillac.

"Looking cute Grande!" I called out as we approached eachother. She hugged us both and I'm not gonna lie, she looked adorable in her oversized hoodie. The driver helped put my things in the back while me, Ari and all the dogs try to fit into the middle row.

"Umm.. I don't think this is gonna work. Sammy's a lil thick" She had tan dog and another one with her that was darker. "I could sit on y-"

"I mean he can always sit with me" Courtney interrupted Ariana from the third row.

"Ohhh why didn't I think of that" I said while face palming. I adjusted the seat so Sammy could get into the back.

"Ohh emm geee! I've been dreaming of this moment!" Courtney squealed as she ran her fingers through Sammy's fluffy white fur. Me and Ariana chuckled and I finally got into the car.

Ten minutes later...

Arianas POV

I was really craving coffee for some reason. I turned around to see y/n scrolling through her timeline and replying to some comments. I admired
side profile, how can someone be so perfect?

"Is there something on my face?" she said looking up and touching her cheek.

"What? No no there's nothing, your face is great. I- I mean fine." I gave her an awkward smile. Why am I so shy and awkward around her?

She smiled and laughed at me.

"Hey, do you mind if we stop to get some coffee?" I said

"Yeah sure. we can stop at Tim Hortons cuz there's not many Starbucks in this area is that okay?"

"Yeah that sounds good, as long as I get my coffee I'll be fine" I chuckled.

We pulled up to the coffee place and there.

"Alright what do you guys want?" She asked.

"Ooh I'll get a cappuccino thanks." Courtney said. I looked back at her. I kinda forgot about her since I was to focused on y/n.

I looked back at the pretty girl that was next to me and told her what I wanted. She even got the drivers order.

"Are you sure you don't want me to go in instead? I wanna pay" I said, knowing I always feel bad when others pay for me.

"No no it's fine, it's the least I can do" she said as she went out the car and into the shop.

"So I see you have a staring problem Grande" Courtney said while raising an eyebrow.

I turned around and gave her a weird look. "Umm no I don't. I don't know what you're talking about."

"Ahh stop lying Ariana I saw you staring at her for quite a while. Right Sammy?" She looked over to the cute fluffy pup next to her and he make a small noise.

"See even he agrees"

"So what? It was just a glance, that's it"

"A veryyy long glance for sure. I think someone's simping" she said as she sat back into her seat and running her hands through Sammys soft fur.

"You little-"

"Oh look it's your future boo." She smirked and pointed at y/n who is now getting into the car with a tray full of coffee.

"Did I miss anything?" She said as she gave everyone their drinks.

"No not much. We were just talking about how Courtney here has a foot fetish" I took a sip of my coffee.

Courtney's eyes widened as she chocked on her drink.

"Um I don't have a foot fetish!" she argued.

Y/n was trying to hold on her laugh

"It's okay Court, if you like to suck toes I won't judge you" she gave her a reassuring smile.

"Wow I'm still not attracted to people's feet but okay" she gave y/n a small smile and gave me a glare the second she turned away.

"I'm gonna get you back soon Grande" Courtney mouthed to me.

"Wow I'm so scared" I said sarcastically. She won't do any that bad would she? Probably something minor I don't care.

We arrived to the airport after half an hour of driving. Y/n payed the driver even though I told her not to.

"Y/n I wanted to pay" I whined as I nudged her softly with my elbow.

"No it's fine it's just a ride" she said

"But I don't like when people pay for me I feel bad"

"Well you better expect me to pay for a lot more things because I am"

"Fine whatever, but I'm gonna pull out my card before you do so you have no choice but to let me pay" I did a dramatic hair flip and got out the car.

She chuckled and got out the car after me "sure"

We got our bags and dogs out the car and made our way onto the jet.
