Everyone dressed semi-formal.

Destiny put her bundt cake on the counter from the fridge and began frosting it.

"Hey there, Dest."

"Emmett, don't get in behind me."

"Why?" Destiny's both of her fists swung over and he caught them with both hands before her knee came up to kick him where the sun didn't shine. He grunted a bit. "Learned that in police camp."

"Lesson learned." Edward said dragging him off.

She turned and continued frosting her cake.

"It looks beautiful, Destiny. Bella will love it." Alice complimented putting a ball of fake flowers in the hole. They were pretty red roses.

"Bella's coming. Everyone get ready." Esme said from the living room. All of them gathered at the stairs waiting for the birthday girl.

"Sorry about all of this. I tried to reign Alice in." Carlisle whispered with a low chuckle.

"If that were even possible." Esme hugged the human brunette. "Happy birthday, Bella."

"Thanks."

Alice took a picture and everyone looked at her.

"I... Found it in your bag." She attempted to justify herself. The girls laughed a bit.

"Dating an older woman, Hot..." Emmett trailed off. Edward looked at him with a priceless expression before shaking his head. "What...?"

"You first, Rosalie." Alice whispered in her ear.

The golden blond stiffly gave her present to Bella. "It's a necklace. Alice picked it out."

"Thanks."

Destiny looked, "It's really pretty. Can I put it on?"

"Yes, please." Destiny slid in behind her taking the two clips and intertwining them.

"Done." She chirped.

Alice brung Edward over to Bella before grabbing her camera, "Show me the love."

They snapped the picture before Alice grabbed another box.

"This one's from Emmett."

Bella shook the box to feel nothing. She looked at Emmett in confusion.

"Already installed it in your truck. It's a new sound system for that piece of cr- Hey! Don't hate the truck." Bella interrupted making everyone laugh a bit.

"Hey! Open Esme and Carlisle's, Next. Destiny wanted to be last."

"Best for last." Destiny chirped happily. Her gift was a giant teddy bear with Edward's voice in it. Courtesy of her, Edward, and Build-A-Bear.

Bella turned towards them.

"Just something to brighten your day." He hinted.

"You've been looking kinda pale lately." Esme added.

Destiny peeked over her shoulder just as blood began oozing from a papercut. Motherly instincts kicked in and she put the bloodied finger in her mouth.

Jasper growled tensing up. Everyone was on edge waiting for him to make a move. Destiny looked up sucking the blood from Bella's finger.

"Good thinking, Dest." Edward whispered. She just raised her eyebrows in reply.

"Jasper, it's ok." Alice cooed holding him close to her bosom.

"Act as her bandaid and lead her to my office, Dest." Carlisle requested. The blonde human nodded and followed her mate leading Bella towards the stairs.
