"You know I can't trust you just yet, right?" I explain to Namjoon. He's holding a tub of ice-cream in his arms. Spoon not far from the food. I look over at him. His eyes never leave the movie on TV.

"Yeah, I assumed that you wouldn't trust me for a bit. I understand." He puts another spoon full of ice-cream in his mouth. "You guys, really, do come up with the strangest flavors." I look closely at the tub and read: Angels Food Cake. How ironic.

"You have to answer my questions eventually." I scrunch my face.

"I never told you I wouldn't answer you. Ask away, and I'll let you know. That is as long as it's reasonable." He takes his eyes away from the tv and looks me in mine. I think about what to ask him first. "So, what exactly are you?" He smirks and replies, "A monster." Okay...

So he likes playing games sometimes... I ask another question. "Why did your friend have to come to my house at that hour?" He starts to eat his ice cream again. He gives me a dead look and says, "I have a limited amount of time to do something before I have to leave." He swallows the food.

"I just want to enjoy my time here before I leave, (y/n)." He pats the seat beside him. There's not much space, but there's enough to sit together. I make my way over and cross my arms across my chest. He laughs and grabs me. He pulls me down into his lap.

He has a big smile on his face and places his arm around my shoulders. "Just relax. I want to watch a movie with you." He leans his head on top of my chest. I blush.

"Don't you think this is a bit inappropriate?" I hide my face by turning to the screen. "Why deny that you like me? I know you do. You think I'm hot." He wiggles his eyebrows in a flirtatious gesture.

"Namjoon. You're dead."

He gives me a neutral look and answers, "I still have human attributes and features." I study his body and face. He isn't wrong. He looks and feels completely real. He can even hold me in his lap.

"I don't think so." I chuckle. Namjoon turns to look back at the screen. I rest my head on top of his. We continue our day watching movies and relaxing.

Time seems to have been taken away when I look out the window and see that it's dark out. I look at Namjoon and see he's still watching one of the movies. I climb out of his arms and head towards the kitchen. "Where are you going?" He questions.

"I'm gonna start cooking. It's almost night." He looks out the same window and sighs. I make my way into the kitchen and start cooking. I look at what we have to eat and can't decide on what to make. I turn around to ask Namjoon what he wants; when I am met with the exact person I was going to call.

"God, you scared me." I place my hand over my chest where my heart should be. He's smiling at me trying to hold back his laughter. "What do you want to eat?"

He answers with, "I'll eat whatever you want." That doesn't exactly help me, and I turn back around to find something. While I'm around, I hear Namjoon speak up. "If I was still alive, would you ever date me?"

I jump in shock and hit my head on wood. I quickly place my hands on the top. I massage the bump and groan. "Are you okay?!"

"Yeah, I'm alright. I just hit my head a bit." I remove my hands. I look back at Namjoon. "What was that you said?" I look into his eyes and question. His eyes look sad when he answers, "Is that a no?"

"What? No! I mean. You seem like a nice person, but things can't change. I'd have loved to get to know you back then, but I'm in the present." I reply. I turn back around and face the cabinets.

While I'm searching again, I feel Namjoon wrap his arms around me. I sigh. I ignore his advances and stay still. "Is there any way that I can change your mind? I may not be alive, but I am still physically here." I place my hand over his grip.

"Just think about it." He says. I can feel his smile on my shoulder. He unwraps his arms and goes back to the living room. What do I do?
