It was a peaceful summer night at the Madison residence. The youngest daughter who was 15 years old; Autumn, was still awake, despite it being half past midnight. Autumn was reading a book in her room, trying to tire herself out but frankly, it wasn't doing the trick. Autumn sighed, bookmarking her page and setting it on the nightstand beside her bed. She stood up and stretched, making her way to the hall. If she couldn't sleep then she might as well take a nice walk while the weather is warm. Autumn walked carefully down the hall to the kitchen, managing to get to the back door without making much noise. She opened the sliding door as quietly as possible and slipped out, closing the door behind her. Luckily since she lived in a pretty good neighborhood, she wouldn't have to worry about someone trying to break in or anything, and she wasn't too worried about getting kidnapped while out on the streets. So she stepped down the stairs of the deck and went around to the gate, walking out to the sidewalk to begin her walk.
As Autumn made her way around the block, the atmosphere grew.. Dense, ominous. She was starting to feel a bit uneasy, so she took out her earbuds and started up some music on her phone. Now soothed by her tunes, she couldn't be bothered by the somewhat scary atmosphere, though she did feel the need to look behind her a few times to make sure no one was following her. As she continued her walk, Autumn just couldn't shake the feeling that a being was present. She felt as if a tall man was looming over her menacingly, waiting for her to look up and find him waiting. But she never saw a thing. Until a few houses down from her own, that is.
Autumn felt the hair on her neck rise as she heard a gentle yet intimidating voice suddenly, located directly behind her. "Hello, little rosebud." When she whipped around to meet the source of the voice, there was nothing there, but upon turning back, a tall, peculiarly handsome creature stood before her. He had darker skin and nicely defined features, three sets of dark dragon-like eyes and red irises, sleek black hair that fell to his shoulders, and a pair of twisting scarlet horns. Autumn blushed. This- man's- appearance was off-putting. Whoever, whatever this is, he's wearing a fancy black tuxedo.
"Those are some stunning horns, sir."  Autumn declared quietly. She was trying her best to be brave, she wanted to make a good first impression on this stranger. He was quite intriguing to say the least.
"Thank you. Now what are you doing out at this time of night, hm?"
He stepped closer, bringing one of his hands to Autumn's chin and lifting her head slightly, the new angle allowing her to get a better view of his several tails, thin but strong. He also had a strong grip, his white gloves soft against her skin. Autumn shuddered, closing her eyes for a moment. She was afraid, but a man has never touched her like this before, and she was dangerously curious. "Couldn't sleep.. What's your name?" She asked softly.
"Azatheon. You may address me as sir, or master. You're a perfect specimen, you know." He released her and slipped his hand into his pocket discreetly.
"Wait, s-specimen? What do you mean, sir?" She stammered with newfound concern.
"You're just a very lovely girl, that's all..would you like to go someplace you've never seen, dear?" Azatheon asked with suspiciously sly undertones.
He took Autumn's hand and kissed it, putting his other hand overtop afterward, there was a sudden tingling on the back of her hand that was gone as soon as it appeared. Autumn could feel her heart beating a mile an hour as she tried desperately to control her breathing.
"I'd get in m-massive trouble if I went off w-without asking first, sir!" She choked out. She looked down at her hand where there was some sort of symbol, like a hex.
"Yet you already snuck out without their permission.. I don't see why not, love." Azatheon's eyes glinted in the moonlight like a cat's, his pupils thin as a claw. Autumn began to feel woozy, and her eyelids were getting heavy.
"I need to get home.. I'm finally getting sleepy.." She muttered.
"You're in no condition to walk the way back, I think I'll just take you until you're well rested." Azatheon chuckled and grinned, revealing an unnaturally wide, toothy smile. "I'll take care of you."
In a blink Azatheon was before her, leaning down to catch her as she fainted.
Autumn's world soon faded to black and she was fast asleep.
