Her body was lying in the same darkroom for three days now. She already missed feeling the sunshine on her skin, breathing fresh air, and most importantly, she missed eating. She didn't eat since she got kidnapped from the Blackheart, the mafia. And since they put her in a dark room with only a bed and a bathroom. At least she could go to the toilet and drink water from the water tap.
And while she was doing so, feeling how good the water actually tasted, the door got pushed open making her turn off the water. Her tired and hungry body made its way out of the bathroom only to meet a boy leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed. "Namjoon is waiting for you" his voice was so deep, but she didn't care. It already felt so good to hear someone's voice. And the moment she stepped outside the darkroom she felt the different air hitting her skin. But she didn't show any emotion like she used to do. And the boy only watched, watched at the girl without emotion. The girl who's eyes were empty. Because she was used to this life. No matter where she goes, or how far away. Even if she would be on the other side of the world, he would always search for her. And he would always find her.
"So, you probably know why you're here.." his voice was the same as always, annoyed. Being the leader of one of the biggest mafia was probe stressful. And he knew it. "I mean, your father is looking everywhere for you" that's when he saw the change in her eyes. When he saw how dark her eyes had become as soon as he mentioned her father. And how the aura around her changed. Making his lips form into a smirk while he leaned back in his seat watching the girl sitting in front of him. The only thing that separated the two was the big table. The table where he was working every day.
"I'm was pretty surprised when he came to me a few weeks ago asking me to find you" then he stopped only to see nothing in her eyes. And it got his jaw clench because he wanted to see her cry and beg for him to not kill her, yet she just sat there in the same red dress she had when they kidnapped her. "I mean, asking one of his biggest enemies to search for his daughter who ran away a year ago..." he made the room go silent again. And she hated it. She hated the silence. Because it reminded her so much about her past. About the days passed sleeping on the floor in a silent room. She shook her head trying to not remember it. Remember her past. But he didn't care. He wanted her to know the truth, even if she probably already knew it. "Don't you think that he wants you...dead?" satisfied he looked at her while she tried to look everywhere else than in his eyes. Because she didn't want to show him how weak she was. She would never.
"I'm curious. Why did you run away from home when you're the daughter of one of the richest men in the whole of Korea?" His questions had her chuckles sarcastically but without letting any answer escape her lips. Because she hadn't one. She didn't want to talk about her past. Feeling the panic already build in her by only thinking about it. So the consequence for not answering was his hand on her cheek making her fall down from the chair. She started to feel how her cheek suddenly got hotter and hotter with every second that passed. But her eyes continued to stay empty.
He stood up from his big and comfortable seat making his way to Rose who was sitting, almost laying, on the floor. Her hand was on her cheek where a tear rolled down at the same moment he had his hands around her chin making her look up at him. "If you want to keep that pretty face of yours then it would be better for you to talk" his voice didn't scare her not even a little bit. Because she knew how to talk to people like him. She knew how to handle those kinds of situations. "My face and my entire body are worth millions of dollars. You wouldn't dare to anything" she was right, and he knew it. But it got his blood boiled. Because she was controlling the situation, not him.
"I think a few other days in the room would be good for you"
