7 AM, Off the coasts of Panguan

"Sir, we have the goods ready."

Guanting strode over to an inconspicuous wooden box, prying open the lid and lifting an M16 rifle out with one hand. He inspected it thoroughly, stroking the gun barrel and checking the toughness of the material as he hummed in thought.

Suddenly, he loaded the rifle with a magazine, turned on his heels and aimed at the man who was sitting on a chair nervously. The bullets whizzed past his round face and struck the metal walls of the warehouse with loud, frightening cracks.

Fu Hai was so shocked he fell off his chair with a loud clatter. Moments later, men dressed in black suits pinned him down, whilst another group surrounded Guanting protectively.

"Mister Fu," Guanting began, setting down the gun with a loud thud.

"I have heard from others that you are a professional man who only sold the most reliable products. This, on the other hand, is absolute trash," his voice dropped an octave with disappointment.

He walked over to the quibbling man leisurely, as if he was taking a stroll in the park. His curved eyes stared down at the shivering body on the ground, a polite smile constantly hanging on his face.

"You have betrayed my trust. Tell me, what did you do?"

"S-Sir, I don't know what you're t-talking about. This is completely u-unwarranted!"

"Oh, you really think so?"

Quietly, he ordered the burly man standing next to him to shoot Fu Hai.

With the end of a barrel pointed at his head, the looming figures that stood around him and the devil-like face of Guanting in his mind, Fu Hai broke down, slamming his head into the concrete ground and pleading for mercy.

He could not win against this young man. He had underestimated him, thinking that he was easy to trick and a naïve spring bud. If only he could smack his past self! Look what's happening now, his people were eliminated, his fortune would be seized and he was definitely going to be killed.

"Take him away."

After all the boxes had been cleared from the warehouse, Guanting sat in the back of his car and looked out the tinted windows, sighing over the lost opportunity at making money. Suddenly, a grin broke out on his face.

"Holy shit, hahaha, 748, look how cool I was! Damn, holding a gun for the first time is really exciting!"

748 scowled at his deranged host. What cool? He clearly did not know how to aim at all!

"But hey, that Mister Fu really took me as a fool huh? My ten million dollars, shit. I wonder what it would have been like if those bullets actually made contact with his face?"

And 748's scowl fell right off his face, replaced by horror. He looked at the sleeping cat on his lap and held onto him tighter to console himself. Why was his host so terrifying...

Sensing his system's discomfort, Guanting's smile turned sweeter. He wanted to tease the system more, but he held back in consideration of how much help he had gotten this time.

Using his previous experience, he had started an arms manufacturing business with the company he had taken over. It was the easiest way to make money with his current knowledge of the world, and he would also have a large backing if any problems arose. He partnered up with government organisations for validity's sake and enforced an iron-fisted rule over the underground dealings in Panguan city, making sure the authorities had nothing to complain about.
