Caylus Cunningham/ Infinite One Shots

Balcony Jump

It's one of those scolding hot Cali summer days. Almost everyone was outside in the pool. I've spent most of my time off to the side with Emily watching the boys do flips and tricks. At one point they even used the trampoline to do flips into the pool. Now, one by one they're all jumping off of Caylus's balcony. Tal was the first to do it. Then Jojo, Nick, David, Michael, Anthony, Cenna, Adi, and Caylus. Adi had even gotten Emily to do it once.

I just sat there happily watching them do all these crazy things. I was never one for that type of stuff or even being in a video. The only reason I know them is because I've been friends with Emily for forever. She introduced me to these crazy guys that quickly became some of my closests friends. Caylus and I got super close and we've been dating for a couple weeks. Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Come on, Ash, your turn," Caylus tells me.

"What? No way," I reject.

"Why not? We've all done it."

"No. You know I don't like that."

"It's really not as bad as it looks," Emily adds trying to reassure me as well as convince me. All the guys nod in agreement.

"What if I did it with you?" Caylus offers. I sigh and debate for a minute. Without saying a word I climb out of the pool. I grab my towel and dry off a little bit so that I don't track water throughout their house. Caylus follows suit and we both walk up to his room.

"You owe me for this," I tell him as we enter his room.

"Whatever you want, you got it. Thank you for doing this," He says grabbing my wrist stopping me from going any farther. A small smile forms on both of our faces as we look at each other. We both leaned in and our lips touch gently. Our first kiss as a couple is gentle and sweet. Perfect. We pull away and smile at each other again. Caylus takes my hand.

My nerves pick up again, my heart begins to beat a mile a minute as he leads me out onto the balcony. I suck in a cool breath of air as I look down to the pool. All my friends look so much smaller from up here. I never truly knew how high this balcony was until I'm standing here looking down about to jump off of it.

"You ready?" Caylus questions.

"As I'll ever be." Caylus helps me over the railing and gets over himself. He grabs my hand as both of our other hands grip the railing so hard our knuckles begin to turn white. Caylus counts down from three before we both jump in. My body hits the cold water faster than I thought it would.

I resurface to everyone cheering. My cheeks flush slightly as I try to catch my breath. I look around at all of them, but the only reaction I cared about was Caylus's. As soon as I look at him, I notice the huge smile that covers his entire face. He envelops me in a hug that soon everyone joins.
