I FaceTime my best friend Haley and I began playing swing rider. It's around midnight and I tell Haley to look at the leader board. "I am almost at the top, I'm so close!" I say in a whiny tone. "You really are but this guy Lukeisapenguin is ahead of you." Haley says in a silly tone. "Yeah I know and I am kind of mad about it." I say rolling my eyes. I kept playing as time went on I began to get frustrated. I let out a frustrating groan "Why can't I beat this guy?!" "Maybe you aren't good enough." Haley said nonchalantly. "Shut up!" I say starting to play harder. Around 2 am I became first on the leader board. "YES TAKE THAT LUKEISAPENGUIN!" I yell, hopefully not waking my parents. Haley just laughs and goes back to scrolling on Instagram. I decide to keep playing to rub it in this guys face.
*Lukes POV*
"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" I yell frustrated. "Dude calm down you are way to obsessed with this game." I hear my mate, Calum say from the kitchen. "I enjoy it but now this girl Shelbybandito is in first on the leader board which is my rightful spot." I say rolling my eyes at Calum. I begin to play the game again and she is still playing. I know she is just doing it to agitate me now. I decide to lay down and cool my temper. "It's just a game."I say to myself.
*Shelby's POV*
I have ended the call with Haley and decided to get some rest. I feel pretty good about being in first even if it is just a game.
