Hey readers! Im back, and im really sorry for updating after so long I decided to put this book on hold because of my exams, but now im back with this chapter and I promise you all that, I will not disappoint you, and if you've been an active reader of this book I love you it really means alot, also to the rest of you please do vote and keep reading:-)

" Um hello". I said after thinking for hours about what I should be doing about the whole situation. I've always been a confused lady, and throughout my whole damn life I've never been able to make a decision or choice on my own, I probably think my parents were doubtful or confused about if they wanted me or not and that's the reason why I've been like this, inherited traits maybe. Anny, Christane and Emily have always been my wingmen because I can't really talk to a person I really like and I get nervous or something maybe I've told this before, so they help me approach them. but it was a different case here I didn't want anybody to comment or get involved in all this I wanted to handle all of this on my own just for once.

" Ya hello who's this" Austin asked in his deep voice.
I didn't have Austin's number, and he never asked me for mine. Even when he asked me to meet we didn't exchange numbers. We just never thought of doing that because according to me I didn't think it was important or it was needed, our relationship or whatever it is was much more than exchanging numbers and texting. We had this connection of our own which was unreal so we didn't need any other connecting link.
I took his number from Christane because I really wanted him to move on and I really wanted to tell him that he deserves so much more.
"Hey it's Jade" I said, softly.
"Oh, are you sure?" He questioned.
"Um yes, why are you asking that you don't even remember my voice or what" I said coldly. That reply was really annoying for me.
"No I clearly remember your stupid voice Jade but I wasn't expecting you to call, and also you don't have my number" he replied in a confused tone.
I didn't wanna tell him that Christane is my friend too, I just didn't want to I don't know why so I remained silent for some time, I could hear him breathe through the phone and I got butterflies in my stomach because of that,and thats when I realised that I really like him and everything is getting out of my hands.
"I have my ways why are you concerned about that, the thing is we need to talk" I finally replied pretty confidently.
"Oh okay so what's the point?" He asked. He had this sadness in his voice, I could clearly see him getting tired of life I didn't want him to be like this although he messed up everything with me I still cared about him.
" Not like this, can we meet? I asked.
"Not sure I am zoning out I dont want to talk to anybody" he told. For once I thought that I should just leave and mind my own business but then I really wanted to talk so I had to behave like him, like a stubborn person.
"Oh for god sake Austin shut up meet me in Redlands park at 10!" I said in an irritated voice.
" Okay okay I will come stop shouting girl" he laughed.
I was happy that I made him laugh jeez.
"Okay then see you" I was about to cut the call.
" Jade?" Austin said softly.
"Yes?" I replied.
"Thankyou" he said.
"For what?" I wasn't really sure why he was saying that but it was a sweet gesture.
"I don't know just thankyou" he laughed.
"Oh god okayy bye" I laughed and hung up the call.

I reached the park at exactly 10 pm and was waiting for him when I suddenly felt that someday is sitting on the other side of the park, he was not Austin that was for sure I went closer to check if I knew him, and a familiar face appeared from the darkness.
"Hello Rose good to see you again" he smiled.
He was my ex Joy, he had named me Rose few years back, he always used to tell me that I was as beautiful as a dead rose.
I had been in a really toxic relationship with him for 2 years and it took me time to realise that he was not appropriate for my life and my growth in a way.
" I am not your dead Rose anymore Joy, my name is Jade" I answered peacefully.
We had a terrible fight before we decided to part ways, I never felt like myself when I was with him, and no I'm not blaming him about everything but his advices and his opinions affected my life in a toxic way. I don't know how to exactly explain that thing but when I was with him I was just his girlfriend and nothing more than that I was losing my existence and my individuality and that's when I approached Mrs Stacey and realised that he was not the one for me.
Ofcourse I always felt like a part of me was lost I had always missed him but missing somebody does not always mean that they are the right person for you isn't it.
"Okay okay Jade how are you?" He replied.
"Im pretty good what about you?" I asked.
" Im fine, you dont know how happy I feel after seeing you" he said looking straight in my eyes.
"That's good" I smiled.
Joy loved me truly and I never had a doubt about that, but the thing was that he was very dominating and he did not liked the fact that I love doing different stuff and I wanted to learn new things. Maybe that was why he called me a dead rose and not just a rose bud he never wanted to see me grow in life he just wanted me to be like how I am and he never wanted me to learn more.
" So can we talk" he asked.
"I don't know" I looked down I didn't want to make eye contact.
Before I could say anything else I heard a voice from behind.
" Hey Jade is that you" Austin asked loudly.
" Oh heyy Austin yes im here" I smiled like a mad person.
Austin gave a look to Joy and his smile went away.
" Oh should I come later?" He asked.
" Oh no no I'm leaving for work we'll talk later Jade" Joy smiled and ran to his car.
It was really an awkward situation.
Joy left both of us alone.
"So?" Austin said.
"Soo" I replied.
