There was a thick darkness cast over the heated desert on the night this took place. The stars and moon shining overhead were the only lights brightening the shadows, or the only lights besides the bright and harsh light of Area 51. Which loomed over the desert now with a target painted on its head. Area 51 had become the prey to millennials and Gen z alike who wished to brute force there way in, even allying with the weebs and furries, if only to get a chance at clapping those alien cheeks. Although, not all were just heading in with brute force.

In the distance, away from the base lay a camp, hidden away from the sights of the guards. Well many assumed from the memes and battle plans that the raiders were unintelligent and bold, some chose... more hidden methods to help the cause. Hidden in the camp rested some of those raiders, building and saving their strength so that they could proceed with the path they layed ahead of themself. One of which, was a rather tired man named Jack.

"Jack! Jack come on! You have to get ready! Were getting ready to sneak in!" A higher pitched female voice broke through the dark silence of a dreamless sleep Jake was happily enjoying.

Jack groaned, not conscious enough to comprehend her words. Instead he chose to roll on to his side and try and sink back into the dark bliss. This was in turn interrupted by a sharp light, giving him a boost on returning to the waking work. His green eyes opened and narrowed against the bright light of a lantern being held close to his face by one he recognized as none other than his close friend Freya.

"Come on sleepy head! We have some cat girls to free!" She chirped, turning down the light and setting it to the side.

Dispite her chipper additude, her outfit looked like an edgy fourteen year old went rabid in a hot topic. She wore dark clothing and even dark makeup to try and hide herself into the shadows, her long golden hair braided and tucked away as to not harm her ability to sneak around. Jack sat up and yawned, already being dressed in preparation for this. His clothing dark as well, but also having a hood, to hide his brown with neon blue streaked hair. He stretched and stood from his sleeping bag hidden in the desert camouflage painted tent. Freya took his moment of movement to dart out into the main camp, as to avoid getting a death glare from the tired and a bit annoyed man who now standing at his full height loomed over her. Jack just sighed and mumbled 'weeb' before walking after the shorter female.

"And so we'll be sending out 5 people every hour unless we get an alert message from one of our men," he over heard the group leader explaining their plan to the other teammates who didn't spend enough time learning the plans.

Jack already knew what all of the plans were. He kept himself up to date and thanks to that he knew he was part of the first group to head out. He moved to go grab some food out of the rations share before sitting down, observing the camp. It was coated in darkness, although there was the occasional lantern. Tents were scattered about but all relatively hidden. Some people chatted about when they would be sent out and others rested or make jokes well waiting for their turn. Freya was eating some instant noodles as she scrolled on her phone, probably talking about some anime or watching one.

Jack just ate a simple apple before pulling out a chocolate bar he had grabbed to motivate himself more. He took a bite and looked up to the sky of glittering stars. After a few moments footsteps sounded besides him.

"It's cool to think we might be saving people who came from up there huh?" Jack tilted his head to see his only other friend who came, Colton.

"Yeah. Although all of this is pretty crazy," Jack let out a gentle chuckle and returned his gaze to the stars.

"But... bro. If you die here bro I'll have nothing to live for, so I may as well join you bro," Colton mimicked a post he found online in a joking manner.

Jack found himself fighting laughter at his friends words, as he mutter out a bro in response. The reality that if this goes bad he may not make it had already hit him earlier, so now he just let go and let himself enjoy life. Colton grinned at this response before his expression grew a but more serious.

"So, you're one of the first people being sent out," Colton paused on his words, worry hinted at by this tone although not directly shown.

"Yep, I'll be so cool that you wony even have to worry about sending in reinforcements," Jack joked in response, uncomfortable with the sudden mood shift.

"Alright, alright, if you say so. Just come back safe okay? I'm head back to my tent to rest up a bit more before my run," Colton sighed patting Jack's shoulder before walking off.

Jack turned his head to watch the other go before he stood, throwing away his trash. He should be getting his gear and preparing. It was only a matter of minutes before he had to head out, and start his journey to break into Area 51.
