Dean stepped down from the cement steps, making sure he had everything for the hunt.
"Gun, holy water, salt, whatever that is... Yeah, okay! We have everything!" Dean walked over to the impala and sat in the driver's seat. He threw the duffel bag behind him and slammed the door shut.
"Woah, take it easy! What's with you today?" Sam looked at his brother nervously.
"Y'know excited for a hunt..." Dean's eyes scanned for the opening to the keyhole. Once he found it, he put the key inside and started the engine with a low rumble. Sam got settled into the seat, and pulled out his silver laptop. He placed it on his legs and opened the computer. Sam eventually looked over at Dean, when he noticed that the car hasn't moved jerkily, like it normally does when Dean drives. Dean had his hands placed firmly on the wheel, but he was spacing out.
"Dean? Hey, man, are you alright?"
Dean was startled by Sam's voice,"Huh? What?" Dean turned to Sam.
"Well you looked a little, I don't know, sick."
"Me? Sick? No, hah, I don't even remember me ever being sick, like maybe once, but yeah no." Dean raised his eyebrows.
"Well, I wasn't actually meaning that, type of sick, Dean." Sam nervously looked around at his surroundings, including the search engine at the laptop.
"So, you're asking if I'm okay? Like crazy, overkill, crazy? That crazy?"
Sam nodded after a couple seconds of pause.
"Well, to tell you the truth I don't honestly feel that well since some douchebag woke me up at 4:30am, but overall I'm fine, I guess." Dean confirmed.
"You guess?" Sam questioned.
"Okay! I'm good alright? Like damn, Sam! This isn't some chick flick... I'm fine, no need to worry. Tell me about this job."
Dean once again, turned back to the wheel, and backed out of the parking space of the motel with the cracked road behind them.

A few minutes on the road, Dean made a glimpse towards Sam. Sam's eyes looked up, but his head didn't lift up.
"What?" Sam said a little too loud.
"Nothing, it's nothing," Sam rolled his eyes sarcastically," tell me more about this case." Dean shifted in his seat, trees passing quickly.
Sam shook his head in disappointment.
"There have been a few kidnappings near Miami, Florida," Sam finally said.
"And?" Dean raised his eyebrows in question.
"And no one has caught the person, but it usually happens at night. There have been a few eye witnesses near the crime scenes who say they've seen a person with a hat disappear with the victim, but it was hard to make it out since the weather has been a little chaotic."
"Okay, this all sounds very interesting, but I don't think this sounds like our kind of thing," Dean flopped his head around and whined,"Dude you woke me up 4 in the morning for a regular case?"
Sam held his hands up in defense,"Woah, before you start whining like a baby, let me tell you this one witness said she saw the kidnapper transform into a type of human-fish and drag the victim into a body of water."
"So like a shapeshifter mermaid?" Dean asked.
"Well, I don't know exactly. It seems more like a creature that's called, Encantado."
"I can't follow?" Dean made a face.
"Encantado," Sam said it more clearly.
"What the hell is that?"
"It's kind of like a shapeshifter who originally came from Brazil, and they live in deep, underwater realms. They're usually mistaken for fishes, but they can easily transform into human form. But the actual transforming doesn't happen until night. Their abilities are seductiveness, music, and control over the weather."
"That actually makes sense, if the weather is a little bad, it's easier to transform and get away with the victim easier without being caught. Smart."
"But not smart enough," Sam added,"Wait, there's more... Legend says that when the creature is in human form that hides their protruding forehead. They usually play music to attract their victims or even haunt them."
Dean chuckled,"I mean I don't think the 'seductive' part helps with the capture, well more for the victim than the damn thing."
"Obviously Dean," Dean's eyes widened by Sam's comment," We gotta be careful on this hunt Dean."
"Well yeah, obviously Sam!" Dean mimicked Sam.
"I'm serious Dean! This thing has various mind control techniques that can inflict illness, insanity, and even death!"
"Sam this hunt is not any different than all the other ones. Chill out man."
"Whatever just being cautious and ready. You never know Dean."
"Yeah, yeah Sam. I've heard it all before."
"Sure, don't be mad when something goes wrong," Sam mumbled.
"What?" Dean turned his head in curiosity.
"Nothing."
"Hah! Sam what's going on? You're beginning to sound like me!" Dean smiled and looked to the road.
"Yeah, just like you. Like it's always been." Sam quieted down and continued to search about the case.
