I Love...Her? (Bayley x Alexa Bliss)

Chapter Two: A Moment of Bliss

I was getting ready for my segment- or, I should say my show: A Moment of Bliss. My guest is Smackdown women's champion: Bayley. She's a good kid, at heart and as a person in general.

Now don't get me wrong, Bayley's a good champion, but she can do better. I mean, everyone can, right? Or maybe it isn't her, maybe it's the way she's booked. If that's the case, she deserves better. It actually feels good to not be the championship, you know? It takes pressure off of me, and I have a feeling people are tired of seeing me as the champ anyway.

I was waiting until it was time for me to face the WWE Universe. For some odd reason, Nikki wasn't with me. Maybe she's speaking with someone or something. And just as I thought that, I saw her running towards me.

"Alexa! Oh my God, I have to tell you something really important! It's about Bayley!" Nikki spoke really quickly, but I understood what she was saying. She also seemed happy and excited, so I'm guessing what ever she has to tell me is good.

"Okay Nikki. But first, calm down, I don't want you passing out." I gave her a little smile. See, I'm not that mean.

"Okay, okay! Listen, Bayley was on the phone just now, and I think she was talking with Sasha. Anyway, I heard her say something that'll blow your mind!"

"Well, what are you waiting for? What did she say? Also, you listened to her conversation..that seems a lot stalkish, don't you think?"

"Yeah, well, I don't think she'll find out. Anyway, Bayley said-" she paused for a second. Her eyes seemed to had lit up somehow. "that she likes you!"

I froze, not in disgust, but in shock. Bayley liked...me? I mean, I don't see a problem with it, but me of all people? I was almost 100% sure that she was into Sasha. Or maybe Nikki's lying...

"Uh, Alexa? You still there?"

I shook out of my thoughts. "Oh- yeah, I'm here. We'll talk about this after the segment. Come on, we have to go now." And as almost as if it were on que, my theme song played. I hope I'd be able to concentrate after hearing about Bayley...

"But before we invite her out here..." I looked at the table beside me before looking at Nikki. "..Where's my coffee?"

Nikki acted like she didn't know where the coffee was, just as she's supposed to. "Coffee!" I snapped my fingers. Then I heard Bayley's theme play. For some reason, I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach, but I couldn't show it.

Sure enough, Bayley came out there, with what's supposed to be my coffee. God, her smile's so cute. She drank what was in the cup, and continued to smile. I'm surprised I haven't died from her cuteness yet. Let's just hope I can keep myself together...

"Bayley, you're a placeholder. At Sunday-"

I was cut off. "I'm a placeholder?!"

"Yes, and you will always be a placeholder. You wanna know why? Because you peaked in NXT! And the one person that you found so undeserving, is the person who's living out the career you always wanted!"

Sure enough, Bayley attacked me. For some reason, it hurt me. I mean, physically, sure, but emotionally too...

Soon, Nikki pulled her off of me, and started to yell at her. As they were fighting, I stood up. I snuck up on Bayley, and punched her. I smirked as I looked down at her. I slowly started to walk away from her. God, for that to be a script, it really hurt me.

Once I was backstage with Nikki, she hugged me. "Aw, you did great, Alexa." She smiled. I love seeing her like this, gimmick or not.

I hugger her back. "Thanks Nikki, you did great too." I looked away from Nikki to see Bayley. She looked at me for a second. Was she upset? I mean, she has no reason to be, it was just a script after all.

Her reaction shocked me a little. I expected her to be mad, but she wasn't. She smiled and said "Good job you two" before walking away. Huh, I wonder what that was for.

"See Lexi, she's totally in to you!" I heard Nikki say as Bayley disappeared. I felt myself redden a little, but for what reason? Wait- I might...do I like..Bayley?

"Yeah yeah, whatever Nik. Come on, let's go to something!" I grabbed her wrist, and started to walk. I don't know what we're going to do, but I needed something to take my mind off of Bayley.

What if I do like Bayley? I can't like her! We're feuding right now!- well, I can't really use that as a reason. I mean, she's nice..and smart...and pretty...oh God, I think I do like her...but...how would I tell her that? Guess I'll just have to wait and see...
