It has been about a month since you and Chris got back home from tour. You're going in for an ultrasound to find out how the baby is doing.
You're sitting in the waiting room waiting on the doctor to call you back.
Chris looks over at you and smiles and you look back at him and smile back.
After a few more minutes the doctor finally called you back you lay on the table, and the doctor looks over at you and ask you to "lift your shirt"
You lift your shirt and look back over the doctor and he says "it's going to be cold fair warning"
You nod and he puts it on your stomach and you say "Fuck that's cold"
The doctor and Chris both chuckle the doctor puts the transducer on your stomach, and he looks at the monitor on the other side.
He looks at it for a few minutes and looks over at you "well the babies look healthy" Chris looks over at the doctor confused.
He says "babies?"
The doctor looks back at him "didn't you know your having twins" you and Chris look at each other surprised and smile at each other.
"We're having twins" you say
The doctor looks at you and says "yes see I'll show you"
He pointed at the monitor "see that little blob on the monitor that's baby A she the little blob behind it that's baby B" you and Chris smile at the screen.
The doctor gets up and says "do you want pictures?"
You and Chris both say "yes" the doctor leaves the room you and Chris look at each other and smile Chris hugs you and you smile at him.
After the doctor brings back the pictures you and Chris go back home. Chris calls everyone to tell them the new about the twins and everything.
While you sit on the couch still reading that same Stephen King's book. After a few minutes Chris walks in and sits right next to you on the couch he puts his hand on your stomach Smiles at you and you smile back at him, and he kisses your stomach.
He says "hello my little creatures" you smile down at him running your hands through his hair.
Chris smiles back at you and kisses you Softly he then gets up and asked you if you want anything.
You told him "no" you put your book down and you look over at him and say "I think I'm going to go take a nap I need some rest"
He nods you go up stairs and lay in the bed and as your about to fall asleep you feel the bed move beside you.
After a moment you feel arms rap around your waist you know there Chris's arms cause of the tattoos.
He kisses your head and whispers in your ear. "I love you"
You look back at him and kiss his cheek and say " I love you too" you snuggle into his chest and both of you slowly drift into a nice peaceful sleep.
