my patient was a boy my age, a few months younger, by the name of na jaemin. we were around the same height, but jaemin sat down most of the time, so i always seemed taller since he slouches. he was blind, but that didn't stop the creativity that flowed from his diamond mind.

since i was instructed to treat him as i treated everyone else, i spoke with him about normal things, like video games and how much school sucked.

jaemin never went to a public school, but he could relate since he was homeschooled. i never thought that homeschooling was that bad, it always seemed so cool, but hearing jaemin talk about it made me realize i like public school.

we'd talk every second, the conversation never dying down unless i went to get us food or when he decided he wanted to nap.

it was nice. having a friend like jaemin was nice.
