I get back home and quickly jump in the shower. I put on casual clothes so it's not too obvious that I'm trying. I clean the horses stalls and wash the horses while I'm waiting for Isabella. By the time I finished cleaning the last horse, I hear a car coming up the long driveway. I'm starving so I grab an apple and walk out to meet her. She's out of her work clothes and is now wearing a beautiful yellow sundress. Her hair is now out of her face in a perfect bun. I can now see her big sparkly blue ocean eyes. "Hey, Tony. So I was looking forward to this little tour," she continues, "but I forgot I had to be somewhere else tonight. I'm so sorry, can we reschedule?" I'm happy she didn't blow me off. "Yes of course. It's fine don't worry about it, we could do it tomorrow. Where you going, a date?" I say in the nicest way possible. She starts to laugh and blush. "No, I wish but I have to go on a midnight cruise with my family. It's to celebrate my brother graduating from college." She says. "Do you......want to come?" I was surprised. I couldn't believe it! "No it's fine I don't want to be intruding your family or ruining anything." I say, while walking to a nearby garbage and throwing away my apple. "No it's the least I can do since I had to cancel our plans!" She says, I was about to object but she continues,"Oh come on! I'm always bored on these things anyway." I smile, "Oh alright, just let me tell my father I'm going out." I walk up the front steps and open the door a crack, "Pop! I'm going out, I'll be back soon!" I yell up. After a few seconds he yells back, "Okay son." I close the door and pull my jacket on tighter. We walk to her car and get in. She turns on the radio and starts singing along. Her voice is beautiful. It sounded like a million Angels. We don't talk much of the ride but I try to start a conversation here and there. "Nice singing." I laugh. She laughs and playfully punches me in the shoulder. "Shut up." She smiles. I feel like I've known her my whole life, I feel a real connection with her already and we've only known each other for a day.
We enter the parking lot near the huge cruise ship. She gets out and starts walking to the ship. I follow. We climb up the dock steps and get on the ship. It starts right away and continues to move away from shore. "Thank god I made it, I would have been in so much trouble." She says to herself. She goes inside and introduces me to everyone. She's says we're just friends and how I was going to show her around. Her whole family is just like her, super kind and loving. They all talk for a little longer and Isabella and I walk out to the railing to watch the sunset. "So your in the army?" She says. "Ya, I've been in it for 4 years now." I say, "I don't get to see my papa much." "Oh I'm sorry." She adds. The sun sets and it gets a little darker out. The ship bumped a little and Isabella had to regroup herself and accidentally touches my hand. " Oh sorry." "It's fine." I say. She looks into my eyes and it seems like eternity before we both have to look away.
The rest of the night goes by quickly in a blur. The cruise ship reaches the shore and everyone boards off, we say our goodbyes to everyone and we get in the car so she can drive me home. What felt like forever, we finally arrived at my house. "I had fun tonight, thank you." I said. "No problem, I had fun too." We both stare at each other and our faces seem to be inching closer to each other. She slowly closes her eyes, and before I know it, her soft pink lips were on mine. The kiss seemed to last forever and it was perfect. She slowly stops the kiss and blushes. " I'm so sorry. I was curious. It won't happen again, you probably have a girlfriend." She says nervously. "But I want it to happen again," I say, "and I don't have a girlfriend." She smiles and I go in for another kiss.
