When You Become Close Friends

Leonardo:

Yay! Its Fall!! You thought happily as you watched the colorful leaves fall of the trees from your bedroom window. “(Y/n), I'm going to the hospital for a while! They need my help! There's money on the counter!” Your mom called to you.

“Okay!” You called back. You returned your attention back to the leaves...but there was one problem. There were no leaves. Instead of seeing the vibrant colors of the many leaves, all you were faced with was plastron. Hmm...now where do I recognize that from? You thought to yourself. Ha! I'm joking! Its just Leo. Wait...Leo! Its Leo! Yay!!! You thought excitedly. You quickly opened your window and watched as the blue-eyed turtle climbed in.

“Leo!” You said excitedly as you gave him a hug. He hugged you back and then let go. There was an awkward silence as the two of you stood there blushing.

“Hey (Y/n).” He finally said, breaking the silence.

“Hey. W-what are you doing h-here?” You asked shyly.

“Oh...I just thought I'd come hang out with you some before I had to go back home and get ready for a mission.” He said.

“Oh.” You said, quietly as you blushed once again. Wow, he probably thinks I have a condition, as many times as I've blushed already today! You thought to yourself.

“So... You wanna watch some TV?” You asked, awkwardly.

“Sure. Do you think we could watch Space Heroes?” He asked, hopefully.

“Of course! I love that show!” You said, happily. You both sat down on your bed and you turned the TV on, changing the channels until you found Space Heroes. You and Leo leaned back against the head board of your bed and, almost nonchalantly, you leaned your head against his shoulder, which you thought was a brave move on your part. You guys watched Space Heroes until it was time for him to go. You both hugged for maybe longer than friends should hug and then Leo climbed back out the window and out into the night.

Raphael:

Aw, poor leaves. Always getting stepped on. You thought as you walked up the steps to your apartment building. You walked through the door and made your way to the elevator. You pushed the up button, stepped in, pushed the 6 button, and quietly hummed along to the elevator music as you waited to get to your floor. You smiled slightly when you heard the ding it makes when you've reached your destination. You might've had a little phobia about getting stuck in an elevator, but you didn't feel like taking the stairs today. You took out your keys and unlocked your apartment door. You stepped in and closed the door behind you. You stopped in your tracks when you heard the TV playing. You knew it wasn't your parents, because they were out of town. You grabbed the only weapon that was near you...which was your... Keys. Huh... A good lot that'll do me. You thought sadly. You quietly walked into your sitting room as your breathing got deeper with the rise of your nerves. You stepped into the room and heaved a big sigh when you saw it was only Raph. “R-Raph... H-how'd you get in h-here?” You asked quietly.

Not even fazed by your sudden appearance, he said, “I have my ways.” He eyed your raised hand and the keys in it.

He smirked and said, “We're you gonna hit me with those if I was someone else?”
